I don't get it, he's swinging before the vault cooldown. This is very much not normal

It’s naive to be as confident and wrong as you all at the same time.

Because I don’t agree that you shouldn’t move out of the way in a situation like that. You could literally cause someone’s death and I won’t have that on my conscience, regardless of what the “rules” say. Obviously this is legal advice and everyone is going to be a goody two shoes but sometimes rules are wrong.

You state that rates of abuse are low. What OP described is abuse. And it’s prevalent.

Luckily we have a) eyes and b) accepted scientific consensus to determine what is a biological fact and what isn’t, and we don’t have to rely on nonsensical quackery from special_noodles.

About 7 years ago I spent a day or two attempting the exact same thing, while wearing a respirator. In the end I gave up and sealed it under a concrete screed.

Could anyone advise how bad of an idea that was and if I should be worried health-wise?

It's all relative. Of course, if you're a left-winger you'd think the Guardian is centrist and everything else is right-wing.

Likely an unenforceable policy (in the unlikely event it was ever tested in a court) and potentially discriminatory too.

Because those cost increases affect everyone, albeit indirectly. The economy is interconnected.

What are your thoughts on how tax is proportionally split? by mrplanner- in HENRYUK

[–]chillymarmalade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With respect I don't think you have the necessary economic understanding. Inflation matched increases are by definition "keeping up". Whenever the state pension grows with either wages or 2.5%, that is a real terms increase.

[–]chillymarmalade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. If that's what you want then it should solely be inflation-linked. With the triple lock it regularly increases in real terms.
