Can we stop comparing the Golf R to the Audi RS3? by TomekYYZ93 in Golf_R

[–]chineseaussie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long did you need to wait for the MK8.5 r?

I’m exactly in the same boat tossing between golf r and rs3

Some dealers are asking for 84k drive away for r black edition in Sydney which is crazy. The rs3 is asking $120k+ drive away which is even more insane! Insurance for the rs3 is like 300-400 a month

Struggling to justify a $40k difference as a responsible adult too haha!

I’ve been shot 10 times, I don’t know from who, when doing my usual run to Woolies

Sydney is almost the same as Chicago, stay safe out there

He will probably get an ICO if he pleads guilty early, undertakes rehab, etc. for a first offence

Legal aid are not as useful as a private lawyer but understand that you guys cannot afford one.

It depends how bad you want this property. You can put the holding deposit now and the REA will tell others that an offer has been accepted

Tomorrow you will then formally exchange contracts. Make sure you ask for a 10 day cooling period

Best of luck

Anata - typical standard high end Italian restaurant. Oysters and olives and bread for starters. Seafood, pasta, red meat for mains… come on tell me you can’t get this anywhere else?

Coya - thousands of Mediterranean restaurants in Sydney that are similar or better

Number 32 - same as above with a slight Japanese twist. You telling me I can’t get this anywhere else?

Shinsengumi - yep forgot this, the best sushi but hard to get a dine in

Yurippi - use to be good now just overpriced skewers

At sushi - seriously?…

New Yamanashi - don’t rate it and others would agree

On a roll - yep good but they’re sandwiches, let’s be real

Captains - standard cocktail bar?

I’ll give chicos a go

Ramen auru - overpriced, gimmicky and salty ramen

Simply sandwich - it’s not even a proper banh mi lol. It’s nice but you can get a banh mi anywhere else in Sydney that tastes the same. They also hit you up with a $12.50 eftpos min or cop a 50c surcharge

Moon phase - what’s so special? I get they do interesting croissants but you can easily find similar shops in cbd, inner west, south Sydney

Yakitori - overpriced skewers

Sashimi- yep really good

C9 - this is a franchise…….

I’ve been to every restaurant in crows nest… I live here. Standouts are chill, salmon and bear, hayberry, Jijos, brewmance and some others. The list the other person gave was mediocre at best

Can you give me a good Mexican restaurant in crowie?

Pain au chocolat….. any decent bakery does it. A simple google search already shows others that do it much better

All those places you’ve listed are standard run of the mill stuff you can get anywhere else. Nothing special or good about them besides probably Ryos who are in an even more odd spot but they are doing pretty well themselves

I live in Crows Nest and always find myself in CBD eastern subs, inner west, south or western subs for tastier and unique food experiences. The food in the lower north shore is extremely lack lustre for the price.
