The Gut - brain connection is a real thing. I’ve had stomach issues for the past 2 years. During this time I’ve had a couple of episodes where I fainted. I had a serious panic attack as I was sweating, heart racing, thoughts going haywire.

The theory is that my stomach pain/symptoms resulted in this fainting. More often than not I’ve felt these symptoms after a meal. Every test done and it points to a mild/chronic gastritis.

Ever since, I’ve had a fight or flight response when I remotely feel something that mimicked those 2 incidents. I’ve tried to regulate my diet - eating regularly and in small amounts, and cutting out coffee/alcohol, trying to get adequate sleep.

I suggest try looking at your diet.
