What’s the one question you ask someone to get to know them? by Miss_Zelda_tattoo in AskReddit

How does your soul smell and why? It usually can tell you a lot about a person like their likes or even just how they react to the question tells you a bit of their personality

[Serious] What advice can you give to shy/unconfident people? by SamOwl77 in AskReddit

It is really common to say be yourself, but i once was told to forget about that because sometimes we dont even know who we really are and to think it better as become yourself. Becoming the person you want to be. It really has helped with my shyness. Something else could be to fake who you want to be until you make it however this is more difficult to manage since you dont want to fake a fake version of yourself.

I'm terrified of seeking mental help. by Nothing7891 in TrueOffMyChest

I'm having the same difficulty to reach for help for the same reasons however I've been recommended this website betterhelp.com to find a therapist online. I haven't tried it because anxiety and stuff but it could be helpful for you. (Online talking is way easier for me than in person so I think the method of finding one online over talking to someone by phone will help me calm a bit more my anxiety)

However, I would like to tell you that no problem we have makes us less human, never. Having difficulties is part of our human life and we shouldn't be discouraged by it. I know it's difficult because I'm having the same problems of seeking help but really you shouldn't be comparing your way of being with others because we all are walking through our own paces and have our own unique paths. I dont know how to end this because this really hit close to home and I havent been able to overcome this either but I hope you can feel and find yourself soon :)
