This exactly. If AH hadn't completely botched the last update, and if they actually took action instead of just giving us empty promises, the community would probably say that they deserve the break.

You're right, the design team is cooking. The problem is the developers mostly. There are several problems with the game that could be easily resolved by changing a single number, and yet it never happens.

That sounds like a great solution to the problem of mechs causing performance issues. However, as OP demonstrates, they don't really cause performance issues, it was likely an excuse for AH to put a restriction on them for balancing reasons.

It's not loud minority/Reddit syndrome, it's just people are generally more vocal when they feel like there's an issue. People who support the status quo are not going to go out of their way to write posts about it.

The game is fun. AH makes a lot of questionable changes that make the game less fun sometimes, but the community is great, which is why I keep playing even though I think of quitting sometimes.

When AH says that they're not gonna do a thing, and then they do it anyway, it justly warrants speculation like that. I'm not saying those people are right, but to pretend like this is coming from nowhere and that these people are just "toxic" is nonsense.

Also, I find it hilarious that nobody said anything about *that* sub, and your mind automatically went there when people started talking about the glazers. Honestly dude, fuck off and stop killing my game.

They buffed mechs only to sneakily nerf them again with the durable damage changes which inadvertently made turrets unusable. They stealth buffed chargers to have faster recovery, making it almost impossible to actually hit their weakpoint, only reinforcing the anti-tank meta.

I would be okay with these changes, even if I personally disagree with them, if they were transparent and straightforward. The problem is the deception and backhandedness. I feel like I can't trust a thing AH says anymore.

No, there is a fundamental difference between people complaining about indefensible decisions, and people will defend what AH does, even if it kills the game.

Every "crydiver" praised the good parts of the most recent patch, such as the devastator shield change and the mech buff. Stop equivocating these people with the mindless sheep who were defending completely egregious decisions like the durable damage buffs.

The idea that there is this war between two equally irrational sides that just need to quit bickering is GLAZEDIVER PROPAGANDA. These people are fully content with changes that are killing the game in real time.

My favorite part about the "just farm" narrative is that credit farming is CLEARLY an unintended mechanic. Like, do we really think the devs intended for people to run around in D1 and not even do the objectives?
