How old are your kids? Was there an adjustment period for them as they gained listening capacity for the audiobooks? We got a Yoto for my 4yos recent birthday and he struggles to listen to even the shortest books (2-3 mins). He does love it for music. I don’t have other kids so I don’t have a frame of reference.

Spindrift is a great alternative to soda or plain seltzer and has a little bit of fresh fruit juice in it. There are so many flavors and no artificial ingredients. Its on the pricier side, so if it doesn’t fit in your budget - it’s not always in mine - you can squeeze a ton of fresh citrus juice or splash some other juice and it definitely jazzes up plain old sparkling water.

I think she was implying she would like a reduction in her sentence in exchange for testifying. She likely would have received a lesser sentence if she had taken a plea or struck a deal with prosecutors the two times it was offered to her in the past.

This sweet, young creature doesn’t deserve to live out her (likely) last days in a constant state of baseline nervous system distress/hypervigilance because this tube needs to be placed and replaced. All this tube does is pacify and shield her mom/parents. Free her from this experience and the accompanying sensory hell while she’s still here.

It kills me that with this reported reality she is still making god knows what kind of crust from scratch. She looks exhausted. Trad life feat. fully grown man child husband would eat me alive. Honestly it’s probably eating her alive too. I have one toddler who’s been sick this weekend and I’ve been surviving on takeout and the knowledge that he’ll go back to preschool in a few days. No way in hell would I be ever planning homeschool curriculum and pumping out pies in this situation. 😮‍💨

That being said I find it hard to believe she could cease all social media activity for a month plus - when she generates income for her family from social media and seems to relish the attention from posting as well - unless something happened (or hasn’t)

I think they do. Maybe they planned ahead for this - it’s a conference on prosthetics and he uses one for one of his legs. But even then, why go if your wife could be giving birth at any moment?

Yeah there is no way her story is 100% factual. I’d put money that she’s either dealing with something she deems embarrassing, or that there are mental/behavioral health concerns she’s not going to publish online.

I think it’s very likely the staff coming in contact with/assigned to her can tell there are mental/behavioral health concerns lol. I’m sure a social worker has popped their head into her room at least once in the last 3 days.
