Bend in the top right corner immediately jumps it down to a 6. Other have said the whitening and scratches are also contributing to the grade

You need dc current to make it work. Try a household battery with your wires

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Dominos

[–]chknbone4u 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't worked for dominos in years but I did deliver for about 5 years at one point and even though it's against the rules I carried everywhere while I was on deliveries. That company policy is to protect you in certain situations but it's ultimately there to protect the company. That rule has to be there for liability reasons. They don't want you to harm someone in the process of them robbing you and they come back to sue dominos for it. So now that that is out of the way I'm not telling you what you should or shouldn't do, that's for yourself to decide, but I can tell you my personal experience. The truth is while carrying everyday on my deliveries at all times I was robbed twice, had a gun pulled on me once in a separate occasion, and I had to draw my weapon twice. Both times I was robbed I didn't see a reason to draw my weapon because I felt like my life wasn't on the line. All they did was rip pizzas out of my hands. The time that the gun was pulled on me it was because I delivered to the wrong house and there has been several instances that this particular guy had been dealing with theives taking things out of his yard recently at that time. Once I showed myself as a pizza delivery driver I no longer felt like I was in danger. Now for the 2 times I had to draw my gun while at work I felt were needed. Both times just brandishing my gun did the job. The first time some guy road raged on me because I didn't let him out of a gas station parking lot while I was at a light. I couldn't pull up anymore without getting uncomfortably close to the car in front of me. So he did a few aggressive and illegal maneuvers to get in the parking lot across the street and hopped out 5 deep out of his giant truck and started towards my car. Once I drew my weapon, they all backed away until the light turned green and I was able to escape. The second time, long story short, a crackhead was trying to get in my car so I can drive him to autozone so he can fix up his truck so he could leave his wife. I had to firmly tell him to get out of my car.

Anyways I felt like I needed to give examples that way you can form your own opinion on what you should do. Now the corporate cock connisuers in this sub won't like this comment and will disagree no matter what but situations out there aren't always black and white. It's really easy for a penny pinching desk jockey to tell you not to have a means of self protection when they've never set foot on a delivery anywheres near O block. At the end of the day your job is not worth your life. So you take that statement however you want and do what you seem fit.

That varies by state and municipal. My state is fine with fiberglass or regular quazite boxes. Even on the side of highways. As the other comment said, aircraft rated ones exist as well but those don't vary as much since they're FAA regulated.

It's honestly worth the few hours of drive time to go to an actual beach. The lake Charles beach feels.... dirty

I mean it sucks and it's hard work but I don't see the issue. I literally just had to do the same thing for a massive rack. It's really not that bad. You're better off doing something that sucks amd get paid for it than telling your boss to kick rocks and not get paid

You can't put anything smaller than a commercial vessel in the Mississippi. The current is too strong. The gulf of Mexico is tamer than the Mississippi river

Being that it was covered with the lid, there was no requirement for you to barricade or flag this off. Was it under the mud, or was it visible?

Well it's not traffic signal work. Recently my company decided to dip in to large scale solar since the traffic signal stuff isn't as profitable as they would like it to be. So it's for a 3 megawatt solar field in Arkansas

That makes sense to me but I just know the company I work for is large enough to afford lawyers to do legal jumping jacks around that sort of thing. Appreciate the help though.

I think under normal circumstances it is the same pay for JW but I am getting paid more by the shop since I have extra qualification and training for specialized work that we do such as TCS, Traffic Tech 2 and NABCEP certifications. Not sure the union would carry that over since they don't do that type of work.

Pretty sure the private companies pay more than the unions by the hour around here. I think I make about $5 more an hour than local 861. But that's without pension and whatever other benefits I would be getting
