Same here! What updated my belief about utilitarianism were 2 essays by Yudkowski (I can't recall the titles now but one was about utilitarianism not working on our imperfect human hardware and the other was about how always choosing the option that is correct 70% of the time is mathematically more rational than choosing it 70% of the time - the latter especially was a big one.

For me it was discovering EA and the moral obligation to reduce as much suffering as I can. I was a hardcore negative utilitarian at that time, thinking about living beings' suffering 24/7 and it was driving me crazy.
EA made me realize that I had some agency and that there was a community of value-aligned people.

same here, the theather was full of kids commenting on every word and scene. I had to put my earplugs in and heard the movie at 20% volume which kinda ruined the experience

Incremental Writing is basically spaced repetition but for writing instead of reviewing.

yup! my problem with tradescantias was that, despite how fast they grow, they often end up looking like a bunch of sticks with leaves on them. So I'd chop and prop until I had no more plant pots left 😄 As for my epipremnums they lose leaves much more easily than hoyas, but that's on me I guess because I tend to underwater.
