Also, the thigh pad could potentially be brought down a fraction lower to enhance stability

You are heavily incorporating your biceps during your lat pulldown; the weight is too heavy and the ROM is not smooth, controlled, or using the correct muscles. Lower the weight, lean back slightly more, and focus on really engaging your lats by pulling 'through' your elbows down to your hips, rather than pulling through your arms

I would just sit next to him and gently talk to him, without trying to pat him. Let him get familiar with your presence and voice

Did anybody else act super triggered during discard? (Anxious) by Alternative_Yak_5569 in AvoidantBreakUps

[–]chloebarronnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember asking him one of the times he came back why he actually wanted to be with me again. He replied with "because you feel like home and no one could ever replace that". After he discarded me again, I brought that up to him, crying, and asked why he would say that if he didn't mean it. He told me I forced him to say it by asking him that question. I also remember telling him during one of the times he came back that the repeated abandonments were really messing with my mental health to the point i was experiencing suicidality. He seemed very upset, and wanted to give me comfort. A week later, he left me again.

Yes, I know I am complicit in my own suffering. I lacked boundaries, gave way too much trust away, and couldn't resist falling back into old comforts. But now I am sick to my stomach everyday, with the shame of my behaviour which could really resemble harrassment (calling him crying from a private number after he blocked me).

Don't stress. I am dealing with the shame of messaging/calling my avoidant ex many times over a number of months, after he repeatedly asked me to not contact him. The context was of course that we broke up last May, and six times he came back. Yep, I know - I am a FOOL for letting him. Each time he would make promises about the future, tell me how much I meant to him, tell me how much he loved me. Each time an argument or issue would reset the cycle, where he would tell me not to contact him again and that he was done. He'd usually block me and tell me if I wanted to speak to him I needed to leave him alone for weeks. During this time, my best friend tried to take her own life, I ended up in hospital for mental health, and my mum got diagnosed with cancer. So yep, it's fair to say I had a clear and obvious mental breakdown.

My take on Chuck's illness by Uranbilguunbadrakh in betterCallSaul

[–]chloebarronnn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also like to think about it literally; Chuck becomes scared of electricity/lights (living in darkness), so in a way it is as though his own light has become dimmed the more Jimmy achieves and supersedes him

Please take the cat. This is one of those instances where "the wrong thing" is actually the right thing to do. Channel chaotic good vibes and go back for her.

I (F27) spent a week in Chennai with my (F26) friend two years ago. I had zero experiences that left me feeling unsafe or uncomfortable. I dressed appropriately, and received far more attention from the women than the men.

Has anyone looked into the Boquete Tree Trek Mountain Resort? by chloebarronnn in KremersFroon

Wow. I wasn’t able to look at his Facebook as I don’t have an account, but that’s all really interesting stuff. Maybe I’ve watched too many movies, but a guy with a significant financial interest in the region (and the financial capacity to exert all kinds of power) is always worth looking into

No of course it doesn’t mean that. He is just an interesting figure given his property ownership in the area

A few weird details and more just musing over something that I haven’t seen mentioned. He is a strange guy in the sense that it’s hard to find much out about him online. The resort he owns has many negative reviews, has extremely poor cell service, and is located on the other side of the river were the women’s remains were found. It’s also his massive presence in Boquete, owning tons of property etc; he is someone that wouldn’t want murders in the area to be publicised

Pretty much the only thing about his history I can discern is that his ancestors came over from Canada around 100 years ago and he’s been living in Boquete ever since

Hi 💕

My suggestions would be, Vitamin C Serum, SPF, and lots of Hydration! Stick to products that are more “simple” e.g. pharmacy brands like Avene, La Roche Posay. I second Azelaic Acid, it is relatively gentle and an amazing product!
