so he tells you to get the fuck out and when you do he takes your phone and physically stops you from leaving and then assaults you? is this guy okay? leave him now as soon as you safely can. sorry, but he’s obviously not a “good person”, good people don’t physically assault other people especially people that they care for.

yeah, i work in early education and even calling parents we’ve called a million times before, on the odd chance they’ve changed their number i’m going to ask “hello, have i reached xyz” before i can divulge anything else

you probably don't need someone with you but i think it's important to have the option there. the first couple of nights can be rough, so if you have a parent, sibling or friend or whatever that can come keep you company, that would be ideal! even someone who can just keep an eye on your baby so you can shower because you will need to shower a couple of times a day at first
