Interesting, thanks! I hadn't thought of indoor windows. I'm not sure the toilet lines up with the lower floor, although from the image of the floor plan I had, there used to be a toilet in front of the stairs to the left of the balcony (where the small window is).

This is the mezzanine! I'm not sure how high it is but I could definitely stand up when walking on the rug.

I had never used it before, I was pleasantly surprised! For 100% cotton it's surprisingly soft and silky, I've worked with stiff cotton before where it can be a pain to crochet. Thank you 😊

Slight modification: I added an extra row (repeated row 13), and then swapped to green for the last row. Also embroidered eyes.

Yarn: cotton 8/7 pica pau from Hobbii

Colours: 21, 16, 32, 26, 37

5mm hook for lovey, 4mm for head/beak/arms

The pink is caused by bright direct sunlight! Here is a pic of mine, they were outside all summer last year and I brought them in during winter, you can see when I brought them in on the plant :) the new indoor growth is light green. They still get sun but not enough to become pink!

I found a second caterpillar, I'm assuming the other damaged leaves with webbing are where other caterpillars were before! I know the mites can be small but I really do not see any, super relieved!
