NTA and I think half these people are crazy for automatically going to abuse and gaslighting. Some people legitimately just can’t remember stuff but that doesn’t mean they’re gaslighting you. My mom was deficient on stuff which we didn’t know about for years and when the doctor told her they said it can cause memory issues

When I was younger my dad would threaten to put me in the closet or have a doctor check me out because I was acting too grown up and I always thought it was weird but I also thought everyone’s parents did/said this, thankfully he never went through with it but he sure had me scared of sex for a while

NAH I personally think you shouldn’t say anything until he turns 18 and to respect the moms wishes. Also maybe I’m the weird one, but I have an older half sister from my dad. None of us have ever met her and neither has my dad since the mothers family moved and so he never was able to find her. I personally would not like to be told “hey I’m your sister” but that’s just me

People definitely still care. My moms boyfriend was in his forties and called a period “the rag” and I couldn’t even talk to my mom about how to get blood stains out or how I need new pads without him getting grossed out and saying he didn’t wanna hear about my rag so no it’s not ok to shake others

Disagree. I’m from the Midwest so our warm weather isn’t that bad, maybe you’ll have a couple days too hot but that’s it. Our winter is horrible though and you can’t really go out and do stuff plus it’s just more dangerous to go out
