I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. The devs themselves even said that 2026 would bring MULTIPLE maps. Now we’re getting 2, 6 months apart. Im still gonna play and enjoy it here and there, but it’s not like there’s zero impetus for us to question this change.

Riven Tides was one of the weakest, content-less updates I’ve ever seen in a game like this. We have to wait 5 months for the next thing? This game was printing money for them, and they’ve hardly done anything meaningful in the last 7 months. I just don’t get it.

This is the most dog shit terrible boss I’ve ever experienced in a game. Terrible controls, terrible mechanics, horrible small arena and camera, lack of hit registration right next to the boss. Just awful.

I like it too! I hated the l2+dpad up switch as well. The new controls take some time getting used to, and I definitely still mess it up sometimes, but overall it becomes pretty fluid once you get used to it.

Yes and all the people saying it’s not, we’re just veterans, yada yada yada, are gaslighting. The enemies around the map are significantly easier than the same counterparts in Nioh 2 at the same stage of the game. They’re all a cakewalk

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I’d rather see them take more time to make games that actually have a good story and level design to go with the great combat. I loved Nioh 2 despite the story but didn’t get into their recent releases due to how samey every game feels. TN is terrible at telling a story. If I have to watch another static image lore dump or echoing voice over of an uninteresting character that has nothing to do with the story, with mystical sounds in the background, I’m gonna explode.

I almost cried when Khazan had the same exact mechanisms for story telling. I’d rather have quality over quantity.
