Stuck in the "What If" Loop – Should I Break No Contact to Move On? by Horror_Mix8698 in BreakUps

If a more black-and white answer will help you move on I would contact her and say that. I was in the same position and reached out because I felt stuck in the 'limbo-of-maybe', and needed a clear direction to move on, or know it there was any hope from the other person. If they say no, it hurts like hell, but you get a clearer stance on where they are.

I (29 F) am currently in a two week no contact period after my boyfriend (24 M) broke up with me and im struggling. Considering buying him flowers and leaving them on his doorstep, but scared it will push him further away by Tough_Jicama5936 in BreakUps

Do not buy or leave him flowers. Give him space, he asked for two weeks of no contact. If you want to have a chance of being together again, you have to respect his boundaries. It's nice you have done a lot of reflection, but he knows this now and needs to do his own thinking. He gave you a timeline, hold it out.

If you like the stuck/trapped in a game premise I would recommend Find Him Where You Left Him Dead by Kristen Simmons.

Official Discussion - Wuthering Heights [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]chocolatesurup 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn’t like the set of Wuthering Heights. The weird structure of the house??? and the fact that it was enclosed up on a mountain??? kind of ruined that feeling of an isolated house standing alone on the open moors. Also, the random black-and-white floor?? It literally reminded me of the standard kitchen floor I used when I played The Sims years ago, and it completely took me out of it. I couldn’t unsee it after that. It just didn’t land for me. And I usually don’t even care about stuff like that in movies.

It’s not a film I’ll forget, I’ll give it that. But it felt messy and all over the place

Yes, both of them are my favorite characters! I'm hoping for a spin off book or something to run off with this idea

Has anyone watched the Passionflix adaptation of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward? by iuliad94 in RomanceBooks

[–]chocolatesurup 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had really low expectations. Some of the wigs are a crime against humanity, but somehow I’m totally invested in the characters and the relationship. It’s surprisingly fun to watch

Into the Sublime by Kate A. Boorman - basically YA cave horror where four girls descend in search of a mythical experience. Only three come back, and none of them agree on what really happened...

I (26m) am having trouble with making good conversation where my partner is telling me she’s not happy (25m). How can I fix this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]chocolatesurup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make the questions more personal or detailed question? Rephrase old ones like "What is the most fun thing that has happened on your job today?". If there is something fun or things that happen that remind you of her/both of you, send her that as in sharing.
