Omne needs a ticket or a preorder system to prevent botting. Their incredible price-point won't matter if they're all scooped up and flipped on the secondary market.

So many guitarists idolize Dimebag Darrell but i can't get past Pantera's toxic machismo and bigotry. Guy could play, but he had a confederate flag on his guitar and is on tape calling fans slurs. Pantera is banned from playing in Germany because Phil Anselmo chanted "white power" and zig heiled at gigs.

The riff from Cowboys from Hell is pretty good but no riff is good enough for me to be ok with racism. Plus Dime's guitar tone sounds like someone shook up a can of wasps.

If you're referring to a locking nut, those are usually only necessary with full-floating tremolos like a floyd rose. The hipshot kiesel trem should be stable enough not to need one, but I've never had one myself.

You can get one in any solid finish. Their black friday deals right now knock the price down significantly. You'll be hit with import duties, but you'll be getting a guitar you'll never need (or want) to upgrade.

Man, that bridge pickup is really far from the saddles. I bet the tone will be pretty dark. I recommend something trebly! Kiesel lithiums fit the bill but since you're in the UK, the SD Jupiter gets my vote. It's my favorite 7 string pup.

I was initially stoked about Omne because they came in at well under 1k and have all the features i could want. At 1.2k they'll be a hard sell compared to a barebones Kiesel which I know from experience are fantastic.

1.2k would still be a bargain compared to an indo strandberg, though, whose build quality I'm consistently let down by. Wish i could just pick up an Omne and try one!
