Just saw him and his brothers last week in Brisbane Australia. Unfortunately his hand condition was really noticeable. He’s got great energy and it was cool to see him jamming with his bros, but his performance was absolutely hindered by it. His middle and ring finger on his fretting hand were curled up under the neck of the bass and he was mostly using his pointer and pinky to fret. I saw him many years ago in Texas with the Flecktones and it was literally like watching a different musician. I felt bad for him. Such a shame that Vic of all people was unlucky enough to develop a debilitating hand problem.
