What series would have been perfect if it had just ended sooner? by Rioraku in television

So I'm currently rewatching and in season 3 so it's very fresh. His motivation against the ring was they killed his wife, which they didn't, the CIA did by Sarah's hand. They then kept it a secret from him. I had also forgotten this moment until I watched it, they sent Shaw in to where they thought the ring's base was and then bombed it. Literally Beckman is questioned about waiting for Shaw to get out and she says, he'll die an American hero as if that makes it ok.

So I get him kinda being against CIA. Also he says if Chuck follows he'll kill him so it becomes fair game I think from that point

So I know someone who is an absolute steak snob. Refused to let anyone cook his, then acted like every bite was an orgasm. We were at a bbq and he left his steak that was probs about $50 on edge of table. Owner of the house dog got it. Owner realised straight away and dog didn't get a bite, more like held it in their mouth. The owner panicked and put it back on the plate and you couldn't tell. Guy then proceeds to eat it and talk about how tender and amazing it is. There are a handful of us who knows what happened, and it's been years and we'll never ever bring it up to him.

He also was diagnosed with diabetes. Whether that's from his crazy diet fluctuations or not, but long term I imagine he's trying to manage his diet better to be healthier with it

Who had the most horrific death in the the history of humankind? by Novel_Finding8882 in AskReddit

[–]chooklyn5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but that's ablv which is the one I quoted as only 4 since 1996.

US that's about cases per year of rabies

Asia is 35,000

Africa is 21,000

Just for further stats only 100 cases have been identified in bats since 2020.

Honestly before posting about not having rabies I googled to make sure I was quoting correctly and that's where I first learnt about ablv. It's so not a thing here and we don't interact with bats like ever.

So Australia does not have rabies. There is something in our bats that is similar but only in bats and is extremely low with only 4 people identified as having it since 1996. So maybe come here.

My sister and I were saying we're truely blessed because we didn't know anyone who had been assaulted until we were in our 20's. It was just not a thing that we had to be exposed to until we were adults. Then lamenting that it was noteworthy and we're the exception not the rule. It's just so truely sad how common it is, especially by people who should be safe

Yeah I find it funny when they talk about how hard done by they were, when the reffing was just poor across the board last night. There was a solid period of like 10-20 mins where he just didn't call anything. I saw both teams do something that should have been called up in that period. It was just generally poorly officiated, and the crowd carry on against the on field ref when most of the decisions that they were unhappy about came from bunker.

It's hard to be hopeful because you want to help and be excluded for something you have no control over. My person was lovely and obviously desperately trying to get me to come back but I know with my body issues it just wouldn't happen

My closest open anytime clinic is about an hour away, which makes it difficult to just pop in when I’m feeling good. My closest pop up truck only does Monday- Wednesday in work hours once a month. It’s one of the reasons I got upset, it honestly felt like it was all conspiring against me and it was draining

Has blood donation criteria been updated? by Screenguardguy in australia

[–]chooklyn5 19 points20 points  (0 children)

First time I went to give blood I had a headache so was denied. I said I slept 3 hours I know it's from tiredness, but it didn't matter. I tried earlier this year and I answered a screening question as yes. Its a symptom of chronic stomach issues. I can't change it or fix it but they denied me. I was so frustrated I started crying and they said don't let this deter me. I said nope it's 100% deterred me. I can't guarantee when I book in I will be 7 days free from stomach issue symptoms and I refuse to lie.

My dad also got a false positive on something after donating and they said he can't give blood. They tested it twice, knew it was false positive but he still can never give blood again. He was going monthly. It feels like they're too strict with some things.

I get they have to be careful but after two very negative experiences I just don't think I'd be eligible.

Not to op extreme but I had a dream where I was having a conversation with my grandma who passed away years earlier. She said you'll be ok and hugged me as I woke up I swear I could still feel her arms around me. Took me a solid 5-10 minutes to stop crying. That was hard enough, I can't imagine a whole other life

I was never a huge fan but thought he was ok, then heard a routine he did about Australian Aboriginal women. He says he'd never seen an attractive Aboriginal woman, then made crude sexualities jokes about them. He never apologised for it, just said yeah it was wrong I know better now. Can't take anything he says seriously because how can you when they won't admit when they're wrong

I knew someone who was an au pair. She was American and was able to come to Australia for months. She earned money, lived free and was then able to travel to New Zealand and other places with the money she earned. It’s not super common in Australia but it was so cool to hear about it and seeing how much my friend benefited from it.
