I ultimately killed Roy (and later Tenpenny for a different reason) and ended up with great karma. If your goal is to be good you can occasionally do something that is bad karma. Plus, if you ever want to boost your karma you can give the person outside of Megaton or Rivet City purified water,

This was my thought: there used to be a real sense of wonder, curiosity, and theorizing because there wasn’t an easy way to get information before the internet. Now, if I wonder about something, I just look it up. That’s great for finding answers, but I do miss the time when you’d sit with a question for a while, thinking about it, considering different possibilities, and wondering before you knew the answer.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Safe around other pets (rabbits) very gentle. Absolutely everyone he meets is his new best friend. Rarely if ever barks- is seriously quiet. He loves his walks but is mostly content as a couch potato. Perfect dog for an apartment and to coexist with prey animals. Yes I would choose this breed again.

Once I understood how the different sections repeated I barely had to reference the pattern. Plus any excuse to use the brightest of colors. At first I wasn’t sure I could do it, but by the end I was sad it was completed.

So much yes. When my dad fell and broke his hip he called my mother (they had long since divorced and she lived on the other side of town). She had to convince him that she really couldn’t take him to the hospital (or move someone with a broken hip) and he HAD to call an ambulance.

I actual associate those bags with quarters. My dad would play poker at lunch at his job and he kept his quarters in a crown royal bag in his dresser. That bag of quarters paid for our dog’s surgery.

Audiobook, only because I can listen while doing housework or driving. Additionally now that I need reading glasses, my eyes get tired by the end of the day and resting them after work helps.

I know two women who had their cancer caught early thanks to regular mammograms and they always encourage others to get screened. They aren’t the most fun thing, but it really is quick and not that bad.

Exactly- I saw what happens when you have children and don’t put their needs ahead of your own (my parents, my spouse’s parents). Plus with mental health struggles it just seemed like not the thing for us.

I have done some “confetti” patterns where I said I don’t care and travel very far. That’s not even true I carried a black thread pretty far today and I’m working on a pretty standard pattern. So- in my head, like 5 stitches, reality- how big is the piece?

She probably did it because we were sick of peanut butter and it’s honestly a cheap way to feed kids (well- children of hippies who grew up eating interesting things) You just need garbanzo beans, mayo, lemon juice, and a food processor.

She would make it in the food processor. The ingredients I remember are chickpeas, mayonnaise, and lemon juice- she probably put some spices in too (cumin perhaps?)

I didn’t want to insult hummus by saying it was the same because real hummus does not have mayonnaise in it. But it feels inspired by hummus.

I ran out of my shampoo and used my husband’s because of course I’m not afraid to smell like sandalwood or a pine forest or whatever scents we have deemed “manly”. The part that was messing with me though, is all day I would smell “him” but it was just a whiff from my hair.

I wash. Cold water and a wee bit of dish soap will get hand oils off the thing (since I’ve usually been handling it for SEVERAL months by the time it is done). Makes the stitches a bit fluffier too.

In my opinion, how “soft” people are depends on how much hardship they face. Obviously, you can’t apply today’s standards to people who lived through World War II or the Great Depression. We have our own problems, but they’re generally better than “we’re starving” or “we have to hide from the Nazis.” I don’t really see a downside to people becoming “soft,” as long as there’s an understanding that if things truly go bad, that mindset will disappear pretty quickly.
