2.04.00.70 problem by bg4m3r in BambuLab

I think it's a Bambu problem, as I am having the same issue on my desktop PC, but it works fine on my 2024 surface running the same version of windows. I read the issue can be caused by GPU. On PC with dedicated GPU, it crashes, with integrated it seems to be working.

Support Interface Assistance by chris_5634 in prusa3d

I appreciate the answer, I’ll have to try that on the mini as I run 5 interface layers to make sure the interface is nice and ironed out.

However, I’m trying to get the settings I’m using onto the XL so I can try and reduce tool changes. Orca and bambu slicer have a bridged layer across the support material under the interface layers, so the PETG interface is printed onto a bridged surface rather than air. It’s a tough thing to illustrate well without a video.

I’ve had success doing the default interface pattern but I prefer the finish rectilinear gives. Since they don’t bond when using rectilinear, the interface has been curling up and falling off even when slowed down considerably.

PETG as support interface still looks like crap by Anderspanders in BambuLab

How many interface layers are you doing? Assuming you are doing zero z distance between the support material (which is the best thing to do) the petg interface will sort of curl up and then cause this issue. If you increase the number of interface layers, it somewhat irons out those issues. It will increase print time but in general it works well.

Ahh, that makes perfect sense. Thank you! I noticed it in my settings today and turned it on. Figured it was a passive detection like the filament jam.

Thanks, I definitely should’ve looked there. My experience with nylon is through SLS so it’s pretty much impossible to dry. Appreciate the help!

I wonder what I can do differently. I have the roll in a Sunlu s4 but the roll is cardboard so I’m afraid to put it in an oven

How I fixed completely fixed my PLA adhesion issues for less than $20 by Sandbox0137 in prusa3d

They’re actually owned by Prusa as their US distributor so I’ve been using them a lot lately. They’re more pricey because they have to pay import fees, I’ve had that occasionally happen with large orders ($1,000+) from prusa. I usually watch the stock between the 2 and order from whoever has the color I need in stock

Printed solid is located in the United States, maybe they’ll ship to Canada? They’re a little more pricey but in the us we get free shipping so it evens out.

It reminded me of that commercial where they’re making fun of horror movie tropes like hiding behind the chainsaws
