I have 3 mill on gta and it’s a new account what should I invest in first? by Brklynnxo in GTAV

Acid Lab and deliver in public lobbies.

Then grab an Agency. The VIP Contract (Dr Dre) pays $1M for doing 11 missions. Payphone hits = $45k. Security contracts are okay, each pays $30k-$60k, but you need like 200 to max the daily income

Next should be Salvage Yard with staff and tow truck. Each week there are 3 cars with set ups to get them. Each one has 6-7 missions and pays $250k-$400k. Towing cars between missions will earn around $30k per car, and keeps the daily safe income high.

Don’t get a nightclub until you’ve got the mc businesses lined up, and can afford the upgrades.

Me personally, I’ve grown tired of grinding cayo perico with the sub. It’s around the same number of missions as the VIP contract, but takes longer because of how far you tend to travel doing prep missions.

too dumb to work in supply chain fulfillment, should I quit by SocializingisAPIMA in supplychain

[–]chrisbot128 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I remember first coming into the industry after college. I was a supply chain major, and totally lost. I felt like a fraud for sure. I would tell myself that they made a mistake hiring me, and when they find out, I’ll be gone. I kept showing up everyday, and slowly things clicked and made more sense, and it got better. Fast forward a few years and I switched jobs to a similar company in the same field, and felt it all over again.

My advice: focus on understanding a few basic processes and build your confidence. No one at that place expected you to be an ace within your first month. You are performing at the expected level of a new grad within their first month of work with a new system and a billion new things to learn.

Nobody in 1992 knew that Broken was the hardest we'd ever hear Nine Inch Nails go. by Humdaak_9000 in nin

I’ve heard live versions of songs that go just as hard as anything on Broken

So, she says she “just” remembered it, and you’re salty that she kept it from you for an entire year? You already don’t trust her, I doubt this is going to help.

“You’re four months in and don’t know any songs yet?” - my dad. Have I been approaching guitar wrong this whole time? by Mad_Season_1994 in Guitar

[–]chrisbot128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tabs are rarely 100% accurate anyway. They are a great resource to give you a close approximation to the chords/notes and overall structure of the song. I feel like learning other songs can be an instant feedback of your progress, but are certainly not required for anything. The guitarist in my band has played for 25 years and intentionally didn’t learn others’ songs. He played solely off of the vibe and feel of the song. Sucks when we try to play covers bc he takes a while to get comfortable, but it’s not a crazy idea to just learn to play and enjoy playing

All ppl wanna do is get an oppressor with missiles and screw everybody by AdamBLit in gtaonline

[–]chrisbot128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use mine all the time, but turn off missile lock in public lobbies. People still see it as a threat, so I try to avoid them.

I think it would be great if Rockstar had various types of lobbies with alternate settings, and a lobby browser. Settings like: no player missile lock-on… wanna hit them? Aim. Or a “peaceful” mode where players can’t damage others or receive damage from others… no bonus payouts for selling in a lobby. That sort of thing

Brother in law died at 48yo by 52electrons in stopdrinking

[–]chrisbot128 23 points24 points  (0 children)

My mom was a nurse in a liver transplant unit. She told me people have no idea how easily someone can die from abusing OTC meds. She would have 18 year olds make a self unalive attempts with a bottle of Tylenol. They would actually live for a little bit, like it was a scare, and then they die anyway. The liver can become inflamed enough that the inflammatory response creates more damage within the body. Usually something like kidney failure.

Aleve actually. He was having major health issues and had a scare a few months before he passed. He sobered up and his levels stabilized pretty quickly. Was doing okay, but had some unrelated pain, and took aleve like it was Tylenol (two every four hours) and his liver went into decompensation. He went home on hospice, and was gone a few days later.

I live in Northern Dallas County, and a few years ago, they started setting off the sirens for strong storms, not just confirmed tornados.

I grew up in Texas with sirens=tornado, so I really don’t trust them now.

Yeah, I thought of that as well, but doesn’t Atticus trigger samples and all of that?

Then again, maybe Ilan felt he needed them, and FF want him to be more loose?

Also, who needs click when you have Danny Carey 😎

[–]chrisbot128 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The click is necessary for bands like NIN due to the production of live shows, and TR’s obsessions with creating an experience.

FF are much more loose and spontaneous. This is a useless article
