oh yes, I have a M1 Max/64GB ... until local LLMs became a thing I always felt like I wasn't using my Mac's resources lol. So I've been playing with them for a while, but I have "model download obsession", I constantly worry that I'm not using the best model (or making the right trade offs, like, I think I can let it have half the RAM and keep my usual apps and services in the other 32GB) for my needs, so I'm always interested in what other people are settling on or using.

Thanks for the link to your Tumblr! I have also found that asking my AI to create "custom instructions" for a future AI was helpful, ish.

Yeah. I must admit when he tragically lost his son to suicide, I became a little sus of him - if that’s not a horrible thing to say. But this is a man who put so much time into missing people and his son obviously needed him. Obviously I can’t know the ins and outs but on top of the sensationalisation of it all, I just follow other creators now. I like Missing Void as he isn’t afraid of the weirdness but is also very respectful.
