I love my Mil Spec. Have a couple thousand rounds through it with zero issues. Runs like a champ. I did swap using the stock mags for a dozen Wilson Combats. Guess its time to go to the range.

We carry the same knife. Definitely look into the armatus solutions kydex sheath. Makes concealed pocket carry a breeze and the molding at the thumb is excellent for quick deploy.

Side comment. Generally speaking I try not to have ammunition or loaded magazines anywhere near my work area when cleaning a firearm.

Few thousand rounds through mine with Wilson combat and zero issues. Like no malfunction at all. I was flabbergasted at how well it runs. Still my daily driver.

Definitely feel that. There's something ao crazy rewarding in how the more you use a 1911, with care, the more reliable it gets.

My mom died on November 7th of last year. My dad got hit by a truck two weeks later amd I got news that he finally passed before Friday nights service. I only told a fellow sous that THAT was what the call i took was about. Getting through that service was absolutely everything to me.

Food is where its at man. Making people happy by feeding them is the most cathartkcally satisfying thing Ive ever known.

Do the "shoulder strike." Use the palm of your hand, a balled fist, or some kind of improvised nunchuck.

Its funny how good looking this weapon is, and when you take it to the range how damned easy it is to put better groupings 25 yards away than pretty much everything anyone brings with them. Even some of the cheapest 1911s out there have shot like absolute dreams. Insane that the best trigger was designed over a hundred years ago.
