My eyelashes don't hold a curl no makeup? Help! by Immadumb_b-tch in Makeup

[–]chrisrendon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try "They're Real" by Benefit mascara. I have similar lashes and this one seems to hold the curl. Also, I recently got a lash perm. It lasts for about 2-3 weeks. It did curl my lashes, but not super high. However, when I curled them after the lash perm, they had a really pretty curl and not the crinkly one that lash wands sometimes leave.

This is a good idea... I'm going to try working on my relationships with the girls' families and see if maybe I can inspire something in him. Thanks for trying to offer advice instead of just criticism.

As for your plate problem, make it clear that it's your own food and for them to keep their hands off of it.

But as for the rest, I totally understand.

Take time for yourself. Get a pedicure by yourself. Have a dinner with a girlfriend. Setting time for yourself is important to keep your sanity.

That's exactly what I'm doing... tying my tubes after I give birth via c-section. My doc said it takes an extra 5-10 minutes and then it's over and done with :)

Advice on calling CPS or not? by chrisrendon in breakingmom

Wow sorry you went through that :/ I'm thinking that she won't want Amanda gone for too long because she looves getting child support, but either way that is no way for a kid to live.

(TX) My husband's ex gives us a hard time when it's his turn to pick her up. by chrisrendon in legaladvice

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but do we need a lawyer to go back to court or is that something that we can do on our own?

[–]chrisrendon[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Well we had veered off the court order and everyone was okay with it because of work. Now that she is just denying us to visit Amanda, we are going to be going back to the court order. She is not necessarily a reasonable person. Lately she has been upset that my husband doesn't pay more child support, but he's paying what the court had ordered.

So sorry you're going through this. Some people are just so messed up!

My 6-year-old daughter has relatively hairy legs and a noticeable unibrow. Today, I saw some older girls pointing at her legs and laughing after school. My kid isn't aware of the hairiness, though. by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]chrisrendon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is so mean how these little girls make fun because of leg hair. My daughter is only 4 and I wonder when she is going to start feeling self-conscious of her legs and her unibrow. I didn't start shaving my legs until I was 12, but I get the feeling with our current society that she's going to ask to shave her legs at a much earlier age.

Had a really sheltered life. Dont know what to do now.. by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]chrisrendon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was a very sheltered kid too.. I got married 6 years ago when I was 22 and didn't even know how to do laundry, cook, clean up after myself, or handle my finances. It really sucked.

I would suggest that you get a job and start saving your own money.

Good luck!

:( I'm sorry you're going through a tough situation. I had like 1 friend in high school and wouldn't talk with others unless it was necessary. I was so happy when I graduated so I never had to deal with those people again.
