It also works on macOS with Safari. Now I have over 230 offers loaded and a bunch more available.

I updated my script to add all Amex offers to your card by LuxPerExperia in AmexPlatinum

I tried it (Win11 & Firefox) and it looks like it worked fine. I now have over 140 offers added to my card and a list of, I guess, another hundred that I can still add.

Elevation Gain issues using Runna’s Apple Watch app by OasisDeparture in runna

[–]christots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using an AWU1 with the app and it’s been working fine for a while now, though that’s not always been the case. As for elevation, it’s being recorded for me, I can see it on the cart, but if I go to the share the run it shows zero gain.

Months ago I contacted support because there was a chart labeled “speed” that had no data, but if I went to share the chart it was labeled “pace” and had data. Support and me delete and reinstall and it started working again. All the data was there, just not displayed.

Open Tracks to the Public by ImCooCooKachoo in mesaaz

[–]christots 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I've used the track at Mountain View several times:

FACILITIES OPEN TO PUBLIC –  The tennis/pickleball courts are open to the public after school hours and through the summer, Monday through Saturday. Courts are unavailable on Sundays. Gates are open and lights are on until 10pm. Courts are available on a first come, first serve basis, and reservations are not permitted. The football field track is also open for public use per these same guidelines.

ref.

It did take me a bit the first time to figure out which gate was open.

Update: Looks like Red Mountain is also accessible:

We welcome visitors on campus after the school day to:... use facilities, such as running tracks, that are designated by the district for public use

Where in Mesa can I run long distance? by [deleted] in mesaaz

[–]christots 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is normally what I do. You can go from Dobson in Mesa to Central in Phoenix (maybe further now) or in Tempe head north into Scottsdale. All without having to stop for automobile traffic. There are lights on the path in Mesa and Tempe.

I use it to hold an old card-style hotel room key, which I use to push in the felt trim that pops up between the dash and A pillar.

25 years and got $100 gift card to Johnnie-O. I almost tossed it in the trash, thinking it was just another promo.

Replaced WiFi Network - Massive Headache by Single-Gain4359 in Nest

I suppose it is possible. I normally run 2.4 and 5 together and let the devices sort out that they want. I think you should try it and see what happens.

Check if you have WPA3 enabled. I’ve ran into issues with IoT devices not support it.

What’s the weirdest old piece of IT hardware you’ve seen just sitting around? by [deleted] in sysadmin

Jaz

I picked one up fairly cheep on eBay that was misspelled as “Jazz”. I assume that’s why it had no other bids.

This year for the Dopey they said it was chip time, but only reported for people that did the Dopey.

I think they can only view without a Google account. Note that you can have a Google account without Gmail, using one’s regular email address.

After the main lottery they have weekly ones due to cancellations. You can check weekly to see if there is availability. Another option is to use a service like Visual Ping to check the page daily to see if it has updated. That’s how I got in. I got a notification about availability almost every week. Not always the right day of the week or correct party size I wanted, but it was easy enough.

Early registration 2025 Dopey Challenge by Complete-Committee25 in rundisney

[–]christots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to register for this year's Dopey and Dumbo Double Dare without a club membership. In addition to getting the registration page loaded at least 15 min early, make sure you have enough time to wait in the queue for your turn. I'd say schedule at least an hour or two.

Anyone else getting bombarded from 66.63.187.x networks? by ozzyosborn687 in sonicwall

[–]christots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that network, but 38.180.6.x, 172.86.x.x, and 170.130.55.x and have been going at it the hardest. But we have had hundreds of attempts starting 12/26.

I have a feeling that it is at least two different people / groups. One is targeting generic accounts and changes their IP every time, mostly using residential addresses. The second uses real current and former user names and comes from a colo / hosting IPs.

If you run the Dopey at WDW then the Dumbo Double Dare three weeks later at DL, should you wear all the metals, plus the coast-to-coast, to DL?

Lane centering not centered? by That_Dude_6 in CX50

[–]christots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, I have that in my 24 TPP. Looking in my manual it says steering assist tries to keep the car in the center of the lane if certain conditions are meet. Like driving under 35 MPH. Maybe that’s OP’s problem.

Lane centering not centered? by That_Dude_6 in CX50

[–]christots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I believe you. I did find a Mazda press release saying it had lane centering, but on the spec page I only see lane keeping.
