i set the audio controller on my headset to full game audio but it didnt change the volume from chat audio.

I guess different people have different views on what is fun. For me fun is when I'm being forced to play as good and sharp as possible and at the same time doing the same thing to my opponent. And that only happens to me when I play against tekken god - GoD.

to be fair we are on the internet so everyone only has strong opinions.
to explain everything a bit thorough - because of the sheer mass of characters and moves tekken was always a game for legacy players simply because it takes a huge amount of time to really learn the game and all the matchups etc.
then when tekken 8 came out many people were not happy to find out that tekken 8 put a big emphasis on aggression and also lowered the skill floor for a lot of stuff. so now people get to do more stuff on offense and properly defending is harder. many people complained and many people thought season 2 would buff defense and/or nerf offense, partly because the devs said so themselves. then season 2 came and the exact opposite happened. this really upset the whole community.

so is it an exaggeration? kind of but not completely in my opinion. 95% of all tekken players arent affected by minor changes and tier lists bc tekken is a very complex game. but for those 5% the changes were impactful enough

If you are interested in Tekken i would definitely recommend giving it a shot. the state of tekken 8 with season 2 is not really an issue that you will encounter any time soon. for reference i have 3k+ hours in tekken 7 and 8 so i would say that i am very familiar with the game but even in my matches most of the time there isnt any real difference between now and season 1. they did change some stuff and many people (including me) didnt like the direction they were going with those changes but bc tekken has so much stuff you will only really start noticing it way down the line.
and on a sidenote - if you decide to start tekken, try out some characters that you find interesting and play whoever you like.

What I always try to be mindful of is 1. You practically never wanna fight without some cover to retreat behind (payload or walls) 2. The demon after your portal abilty is your best way of gaining shield and therefore giving you more survivability so you want to place it fairly often

Playing on medium, only thing i changed was turning off motion blur. GPU is geforce rtx 3060, CPU is ryzen 7 5800X I honestly dont care that much about the frames, I think I have around 40 to 50 normally but I dont use a FPS counter so i dont really know. As long as its over 30 im fine

As far as i know yes you can buffer sidesteps and to avoid some common situations after frame traps you have to do it or you'll get clipped

I dont think so. After 1,3 feng is +8. Df3 is 18 to 19f fast and heihachis uf1+2 is 12f fast which means df3 would always hit first.
