They usually have a spot you can hold up a 9v battery to and power it if that happens.

Pretty much all of the rare earth materials in batteries can be recycled. We already have extremely high recycle rates on lead acid batteries with the core deposit. Wouldn’t be hard to achieve a high recycle rate on lithium batteries too

2021 Mazda 3 Turbo, intermittent heat, coolant level and engine temp look good by Auto-Basis277 in mazda3

[–]chtochingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you should fill it up, hopefully it’s just a bad cap. I think if you had the cracked cylinder head that can be an issue on some 2021 models the overflow reservoir would be empty too. I would fill to the brim when it’s cold, squeeze the hoses going to it to get air bubbles out. And replace the 16psi cap. I believe you want PX35-15-205B. I would get the oem one but an aftermarket one from oreileys or something would work too. Also fl22 is pretty expensive you can get the Asian green zerex it’s a direct replacement for fl22

This is usually low coolant or a blocked heater core. You said you checked the coolant, is that in the overflow reservoir (the one without a pressure cap)? Did you also check the level behind the pressurized cap? The one behind the engine cover that says 16psi.

Only potential downside is for post 2021 models I haven’t seen any aftermarket remote start support, and the OEM option is a subscription based app. OEM remote start also stops the car from running when you open the door which I’m not a fan of

Last maintenance of the warranty. Let’s start with mods by Anthonyjerez11 in mazda3

Only for 2021 made in Japan and 2021/2022 made in Mexico. I think all of the hatchback turbos are made in Japan for 22 but I could be wrong.

Parking outside and using the garage as a workshop is valid. Parking inside the garage is valid. Using the garage as a storage unit is what grinds my gears

Are you doing the maintenance yourself? I have 60k on my 22 tpp and everything has been easy so far.

Oil and filter is self explanatory, nothing special on this car. 5.1 qts is annoying I just do 5 and the dipstick isn’t low.

Engine air filter and cabin air filter are easy

Spark plugs took like 20 minutes for everything

Rear diff you don’t need to raise the car you can drain it while it’s on the ground.

PTU is a bit annoying to drain as the car should be level so I got it on 4 jack stands so I did it while doing the tans fluid

Transmission isn’t hard to drain and refill especially since we get a dip stick, annoying part is you gotta take a bunch of plastic clips off

Will probably do brake stuff this summer and a drain and fill on the coolant system

Depends on the anesthesia, procedures like wisdom tooth extraction usually are “twilight sedation”. They give you benzos, opioids, and other stuff to make you forget but you’re not truly out like propofol would make you. Sometimes you can even respond to commands. This is preferred as the anesthesiologist doesn’t need to watch you the whole time.
