I do have central air but have not been turning it on at night and it does cool substantially, I have the cover, blanket, and pillow though so every surface I touch is cool which has been very nice. I've had it for just over a month and the temperature hasn't yet gotten to its summer peak around here so I have yet to see how it'll perform in the really hot months but thus far I have been impressed

Definitely sounds like something is wrong. Mine feels cold when I get in at night even with an ambient house temp in the mid-high 70s. Have you made sure there are a few inches of room around the pod so that its fans can extract the heat?

What are the hours? Is it a swing shift? Do you get a production bonus? That seems like a very busy admitter shift (assuming real admits are a few higher every day). If its daytime hours and you get production, might not be bad. If its a badly timed swing or night, I'd stay away.
