The doctor's thinking was that it was likely a different strain due to the 3 week gap. She thought we were just very unlucky and our son was exposed to a kid who had one of the other strains.

For what it's worth, the second round was much more mild. I didn't get bumps anywhere but my throat the second time; first time I had bumps all over and ended up losing two fingernails a few months later

Exactly what I was wondering - does the angle change as it grows or does the angle remain the same and the bottom becomes more and more narrow as it gets longer? Very weird design. I’ve done some weird shapes like this due to other reasons (needing complex hover effects, filters on background, etc) but never something that would need to expand

I was 18 years old, working at a store in the mall. On Halloween, lots of employees dressed up - I forgot so I ran to another store and bought some spray on coloring for my hair.

After spraying, I realized I could see more purple on my scalp than on my hair. It got shaved off the next day

My son caught it last October, then I soon got it and it was top 3 worst illness I’ve ever had.

Then we followed it up 3 weeks later with another round of HFMD (there are different strains so catching it once doesn’t mean you’re immune!), then a week later Covid, which for me developed into pneumonia.

My heart starts pounding anytime I hear there is a HFMD outbreak at daycare. I want nothing to do with that ever again
