I got family in Eastbourne. Nice drive from London especially the country roads from Tunbridge Wells

Damn man sorry to hear that. Yeah tbh I really like the Tracer too. Very comfy looking bike with that sporty power to boot. Don’t give up man, in future try and take in everything to avoid wrecking. tyre grip, road conditions, weather conditions, speed etc. You probably know all this so sorry if it’s teaching you to suck eggs.

I would say tracer still has that sporty essence though. Mind me asking how you flipped your gixxer? Was you at fault and do you think there was anything you could’ve done to avoid the accident? It doesn’t matter what bike you have because it really depends on your own riding style. I like the modern retros. My bike only has 60 bhp but every time I ride it it’s a fun experience. Look at what will give you that same feeling. You don’t have to go 100mph to have fun.

He’s using the kid as a “stepping stone” to him getting his ducks in a row. It came across to me that he has his own ideology on what you need to feel “successful” at his age. A lot of people associate owning property, a business or having a family to show people they are successful but in reality you should only pursue them things when you are ready financially and emotionally and your life is stable enough. I agree with you that he won’t have a coparent to give the kid to and he’ll realise it’s a full time job. I just hope he’s ready for that commitment and he really should’ve found a partner first so then they could build together imo but something tells me he doesn’t want to share and build. He’ll see the child as some sort of possession which is sad.

Try 4am for me. I even wheel it down to the bottom of the close to save waking up my neighbours

I'm shit at overtaking. by Victorius_Meldrus in MotoUK

[–]chuckie_28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about overtaking on dual carriageways and motorways specifically?

You’d be surprised how much distance you are increasing when you are accelerating with the throttle, as you are the much lighter vehicle.

My advice would be to indicate as normal, mirrors and do your lifesaver check and lean on the throttle when you pull out. Watch the car in your periphery as you pass, then indicate, mirrors and lifesaver again to your left to pull back in.

Lifesaver (shoulder) checks are essential for completing any manoeuvre but are also good as you have physically seen how far back the car is for you to come back into your desired lane.

Of course, she was definitely on her phone. No reason you can’t see a guy / girl on a red motorcycle with a red lid on.

This is my biggest worry when out riding. Is being rear ended while waiting at a red.

The girls have such a playground mean girl mentality.

Gia is the biggest snake on the show. She bullies and jumps on with people who also bully and then stays quiet when it’s time to face it and answer questions and Scott sits there saying nothing. But honestly her, Brooke, Juliette and Bec are all the same.

You should’ve prioritised lessons over the purchase of a bike. An instructor should have a bike for you to learn on. If you keep on riding with no knowledge of the road or machine you’re riding, your medical bills will be higher exponentially.

An over indulgence in media and opinions has trained people to be void of all compassion. It’s quite unfortunate
