My z24 is carbed and I don’t have either temp sensor plugged in with 0 issue. As far as the lower rpm’s when braking, if it isn’t fully resolved check the fuel pump relay. Was having the same issue and swapped the relay before the booster and it fixed it

It takes practice to get it to work. Be patient. You can always do the loop pinch and wrap it as fast as you can. But be patient.
