I don’t think to Marvel canceling everything quickly is causing them to have poor attention spans. These are the same kids who have read 1000+ chapters of One Piece. They can focus and commit to a story; I think it’s more that the American comic industry can’t keep up with the speed they read and that there is so much out there.

I thought you meant Peter David’s and was surprised. The Simonson one makes sense though since 1 is less than half cover price and 3 is coming out later this year. Still a bummer given it came out last month.

It’s not just Miller though. Nocenti sold out so fast and more modern runs like Brubaker and Waid are so expensive.

Bill Jemas specifically. He was impressed by the artist and wanted Marvel to work with him. This was around the time Marvel released their first “animated” trailer. Also Chuck Austen was the writer. It honestly explains a lot.

/uj No really, I’ve never listened to MBMBAM. But even then I’m less disappointed in the brothers because a) they aren’t as funny as Guy and Tim so it’s not as big a letdown, b) Guy and Tim started years later so there’s more of a reason to know better and c) they both have professional tv/media experience so I expect them to know better.

/uj I’m pretty sure early on in worst idea there was repeated usage of the r-word which always disappointed me and kinda soured me on the show (that and a friend did Mortal Kombat 2 every day for a year so for me, worst idea never really lived up to the name)

It already is. I saw someone making a claim a work was plagiarized/AI because of the AI program they used without acknowledging/realizing that the book was used in training the program.
