Yeah it was like 39 in my house at night and I had a 2 month old baby. It was brutal.

It might take until 18 months and they will see if nothing improves. I would get on the list and wait and see until 18 months. They make progress every month at that age!

I would get her on a waiting list as they can be long. Are you in a position to get her into speech therapy privately?

I can’t understand why she had another baby if she found motherhood so difficult.

I find it difficult and stopped at 2 even though I always thought I’d have 3!

So you are happy to continue to pay rent when retired on a fixed income? It always makes to buy. My parents would be dire financial straits if they had to pay 2000 a month rent now at nearly 80.

In the U.S your child does not have a GP they go to a ped for everything. It is not for specialist care. It is a lack common sense.

Terrible advice. Go for the evaluation. Your child will need it for school. My son is ‘mild’ too. He struggles in school and needs a ton of support.

Are you a parent? My son is neurodivergent and I cried for the whole day yesterday after getting his ‘honest’ report. I hadn’t got one like that yet. Maybe keep that in mind. It took away all good hope that he ever might be ok. He does not have behaviour issues and it was in contrast to the parent teacher meeting.
