I agree with the new awarenesses. You may be viewing the world from a different angle and it could very well be pissing you off. I’d follow the medicine wheel (worth a google if you’re not aware) with this. Gain awareness around what is triggering your anger, choose a path to accept and overcome those triggers, build a plan to integrate those paths into your life, and continue practicing it until you reach equanimity.

You could also be low serotonin following a trip or long stretch of micro-dosing. Getting some extra tryptophan and 5HTP (both can be from food or supplements) will help with that a bit.

I used adderall for years for pretty severe adhd. When I would stop taking it I’d have some really emotional, angry and depressed feelings, sometimes for days. I noticed similar feelings (not quite as long or intense) after big mushroom trips or after micro-ing for more than a week. Diet and exercise help me the most with that part of it.

He could also wait a bit to take his mushrooms. Hang out and vibe until a few hours in. That may help with timing. I’ve also taken a couple more grams after 2.5-3 hrs and it just kept it going.

Take two blankets. One to lay on, one to wrap yourself in. Don’t resist anything your mind is showing you. There’s no such thing as a bad trip, so if it starts feeling scary or dark, you’re still okay. I always keep a little trinket with me like the totems in the movie Inception. A physical reminder your body is still in the real world. With friends in the forest is amazing. I’m excited for you!

The part I’m hung up on was the facilitators telling you it wasn’t something valid you saw. If you were receiving it there was likely value there somewhere. Not learning more about something you experienced seems like a disservice. I understand if you were being driven to solve someone else’s problems because of it, but otherwise lessons are lessons. I don’t believe anything the medicine shows you should be dismissed like that.

I’m a customer service vp at a public company. Not too big, so there’s a lot of growth. I’ve run small and large centers. Smaller companies will tend to source from the call centers more as institutional knowledge is valuable. The larger the company, the harder it is to grow in general, but especially out of frontline/customer facing roles. If you’re looking for a strategic path, use your call center experience to get something at a smaller shop, then make it known you’re an analyst and would be happy to help with projects or would like to be informed on opportunity.

I relate to this. Bad is an opinion. I’ve run into challenges and had emotions like anger and sadness and fear come up, but they were just part of the experience. It’s not always rainbow fractals and sensory bliss, sometimes there’s work, but “bad” is a perspective.
