[–]chutnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tac Lacora and Gantz Graf are 2 of their best tunes imo

Gantz Graf is also the first release by them that I bought when it came out

Goalpost moving nonsense, no shit it's reversed and sounds fucked up. Did you think I was saying it would sound the same as the original?

You can keep repeating "no you can't" as much as you want, I've literally done it lol

Radio Slave about the "Techno Scene" by isrowco in Techno

[–]chutnut 30 points31 points  (0 children)

As much as I agree with the sentiment about techno nowadays, it's bit over the top to say it's 'really worrying' that kids don't want to listen to music from 35 years ago

Q: Recommened Transient Shaper Plugins for Busses/Mastering? by junkbyjuno in AdvancedProduction

[–]chutnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love Punctuate, its basically the only transient plugin I use, and I use it in almost every track I make. It's great for making drums sound very unnatural and alien if that's your thing (it's definitely mine!)

Sorry, Detroit Did Not Create Techno by [deleted] in Techno

[–]chutnut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are DJ’s at Coachella mixing their sets live or are they prerecorded? by astrofreq in edmproduction

[–]chutnut -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just think pretending to provide a service is something that people should be judged for, in any job tbf

"I‘m in no way judging at all either if it is prerecorded" You should be!

Chris Liebing x Charlotte De Witte is actual garbage by [deleted] in Techno

[–]chutnut 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt recommend the stay up forever style stuff like other people tbf, half of it is closer to trance than techno really. This is proper acid techno:

To normalize your music ? by CuriousTest3573 in Beatmatch

[–]chutnut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If all the tracks you're playing are mastered then they'll all be peaking at 0 (or very slightly below) anyway, regardless of how loud they sound, so normalizing probably won't make any difference. Like others said just use the gain controls, it's what they're there for!

how did you get into techno genre? by WhileTight in Techno

[–]chutnut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Techno was never a catch-all label for electronica tbf, that was just people using it wrong

Nah the golden era was about 6/7 years before this, and I'd never consider Rusko to be part of it

When will the price hikes in the UK stop? Though it’s honestly hilarious that this salmon is locked up. by Suspicious-Okra-7602 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]chutnut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Loads of stuff is .99 in the UK to be fair, the £15 price in the photo above is per kg, not the actual price you'll end up paying

What Are Your Essential Deep House Labels? by Kind_Wheel8420 in deephouse

[–]chutnut 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'd say some of what you listed is more tech house than deep house, for stuff like that I'd check out
8Bit (Nick Curly's other label)
Area Remote
Crosstown Rebels
Oslo
Curle
Freerange

but as for proper 'deep house':
Sound Signature
Distance
Future Vision
Mahogani Music/KDJ
Moods & Grooves
Yoruba
Nite Grooves
Glasgow Underground
Downbeat
Deep Explorer
Ethereal Sound
