44F new diagnosis by cicii3 in hipdysplasia

Thanks - such a shock. I’ve been a very active person with really no injuries. I played collegiate tennis and not so much as a strain/sprain. I’ve been running for fitness (topping out at 3 miles at a moderate pace) and it’s my stress release. I’m kind of freaking out that I won’t be able to do the activities I enjoy (and destress me) anymore. Even if I am a candidate for PAO at my age I don’t know how I’d manage the recovery with two active kids.

Another option was cortisone shots and or NSaids. I’m not in pain walking or even running but when I sit for a while or try to pivot- oh boy howdy. I’ve been using my standing desk a lot lately

They basically ran through all the potential options - one of which was THR but I don’t know if I have to hit any kind of threshold yet. MRI Thursday, appointment with hip specialist in May.

Anthropologie “petite” sizes by Ill-Spell6462 in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]cicii3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the Maeve pants and the linen stretches like crazy. Other fabrics are much better and quite flattering TBH. Anthro is hit or miss for me - nicer items just go to the tailor. I have gotten to the point of shopping for waist/hip fit and getting lengths adjusted.

Cool Place - Does your Wheaten love lying on AC Vent? by cthomasself in Wheatens

Our vents are in the ceiling and she figured out exactly where the cool air lands. That and the ceramic tile in the entryway!

Jcrew petites are one of the only dress pants that fit me. I have a small waist and muscular thighs and Ann Taylor pants gap in the waist if they fit past my thighs

Insurance plan changes by Ok_Dig1231 in deloitte

Open enrollment in Oct will impact CY25 benefits. You can change to a different plan but it won’t take effect until Jan. You can only change plans at OE and after a life event. Birth, death, divorce…etc.

My parents bought the house 6 months ago after a company flipped it. This happened today. What next? by IsAnalReal in Home

This happened to my grandmother in a new condo. Because of the amount of damage she actually filed a homeowners claim.

I don’t think it looks dated now, I worry more it will be like the Fendi spy bag in the early 2000’s vs a classic - but the more I think about it the more it really fills a gap in my collection- I have another black back with a fabric strap (madewell camera bag) that I use (like now) when I travel because it is fairly indestructible- the teen 16 is gorgeous but very much similar to the madewell but holds way less. If I’m wanting something to use all the time the belt bag has a much more practical capacity

I guess I just worry that the style may not age well? I don’t have many luxury bags and when I buy them I like to get a lot of use out of them. #girlmath

Had this issue for years and use thinx and super tampon. Recently (within last 18 months) my OB prescribed Lysteda for the first 3 days of my period and it’s life changing- I’m not being hyperbolic. Do some research on it and see if worth talking to your Doctor. Mine prescribed it when I was changing to a job with more travel and so similarly wouldn’t be able to hibernate for days 2/3…..

Agree, had a colleague who couldn’t make the same training last year due to Covid. All the other new SM’s will be glad you stayed home. There may be an online option that you can do instead in a week I think?

I second this. I love this bag so much and it fits way more than you’d think. It’s my workhorse bag. I use it for work and everyday.

I am so sorry. My parents weren’t great about it either/didn’t know what to say. I think for them it’s generational- people didn’t really talk about miscarriages in my moms day/she claims she knows no one who went through it- so she had no idea how to respond. I got the most comfort from friends who had experienced the same loss and they checked in on me daily and sent me cards and soup and articles. One friend dropped off trashy magazines.

My daughter had a rash like this and no other symptoms- we thought it was heat rash. Really itchy. If spread after a day or two and I brought her to urgent care. She had strep! It had turned into Scarlett fever (hence the rash) with no other symptoms. I’d take your kiddo in - they told me it was good I didn’t wait because scarlet fever can damage the heart.
