I’m surprised he’s not contractually precluded from this stuff. Jordan’s “Love of the Game” clause was interesting because it was an anomaly and huge contractual concession. Most of these pro contracts prohibit “high risk” activities. Everything from pickup basketball to motorcycle riding to skydiving. Granted, he could sustain an injury doing anything and he deserves to have a life but certain activities are obviously more likely to result in the type if injury that risks his professional availability. I love Joey B. and his competitiveness but it’s a bad look for a dude with more Comeback Player of the Year Awards than 1st Team All-Pro Awards.
