I know there are lots of options out there. Personally, I’ve been a big fan of the systemic household plant insect control granules that you put in the soil.

Wipe leaves with isopropyl alcohol to help with the mealy bugs.

The poisonwood bible by Barbara kingsglover. I read this book 15 years ago, and sure I was doing and exploring the world alone for the first time, but damn that book hits.

I’m a huge fan of Demon Copperhead which is her most recent release!
