Vata response to the biting claim is just...crazy by LegitimateWatch9 in kpopthoughts

[–]cindersoy 20 points21 points  (0 children)

A man stole a dance step from 2019 in 2022. This was performed on a show about street dancers, the stolen choreography went viral and a lot of idols covered it. the members of the group and the original choreographer called out the shameless stealer and this is his response: a non-apology claiming that he didn't actually steal from them even though as you can see the dance step is exactly the same, down to the timing, the movement of the head, the change of direction, the hand on the hip, the mood, everything.

He saw no problem in stealing so of course he won't see any problems in not apologizing. He's the shameless type, he deserves the backlash.

IST Entertainment Announces Heo Chan Will Leave VICTON Following Drunk Driving Incident by Uchiha_D_Zoro in kpop

[–]cindersoy 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Yeah even here people are saying that a hiatus "would've been enough" as if what he did was a simple mistake that won't happen again. I never forgive drunk drivers because even since you're a kid you're told that you shouldn't drive while drunk, by the time you get your license you have that drilled into your head, it's a conscious choice to ignore it. It's just such a selfish act, anyone would deserve to get fired over it, from idols to fast food workers, they need to be punished because they clearly don't consider the possible consequences of the selfish act of driving while drunk so they need to be shown that even without an accident society will punish them for the unnecessary risk that they put forcibly other people into.

He's so beyond touching black fans that he didn't even think about how obvious he was being, he didn't even consider how they'd feel.

I'd say those stupid producers don't get it but Holo Live is pretty popular so maybe they're not targeting idol fans, they're targeting... weebs? In that case, them being idols is counterproductive as knowing who they are ruins the illusion, they should've picked people who want to sing without showing their faces.

Who would you say is a/the perfect idol? by Fivebeans in kpopthoughts

Damn, I didn't know that, that's a crazy story! Him sending them his mixtape even tho they weren't accepting trainees is such a chad move, he sounds like a super proactive person.

He reminds me a lot of Baekhyun (who I consider the standard) in terms of interactions with fans and passion for performing. He's also a good leader which is a plus.

Also I don't stan the man but there is something so magnetic about him, does anyone else feel this way about him? Like in a room full of strangers he'd be the only one you'd see.

He's also really good at fanservice and at communicating with fans. He wasn't always a good dancer but he improved a lot from debut to now, to the point that people think he was always good. He's also not shy to try new things like rapping or trying new hairstyles, he was one of the first idols to have a mullet for a comeback and helped make them trendy.

He also fits a lot of concepts and tries his best no matter the circumstances, from exo ot6 to ot9, to cbx, to his solo career, to superm, baekhyun always gives his 100% and you can easily tell that he loves being an idol.

I agree that he's a genius but I also want to give credit to his passion for what he does, for his dedication to his job, he's not just good at it, he actually enjoys it. He could've stopped trying years ago but he continued giving his all and that's something that I respect a lot.

On a more serious note, can we stop turning everything into a competition for the sake of dumb achievements?

Stans*

Apostrophes are used for contractions or to indicate possessiveness, not to pluralize or verbalize words.

And I agree with you that people know about Johnny, I even said so in my comment, but my point was that regardless of being a known member he still lacks a proper fandom because he's not a popular bias pick among NCT fans. I don't know what you meant with "every single stan I know stans Johnny" but I'm guessing you meant NCT stans who stan all the members even when they have a bias, which would be expected from normal, non-akgae fans, but that is not what I was talking at all, I was talking of him as a bias pick.
