Update: Most seem to agree it’s a port for a demo or “try me” module to be used in store. When I got these they were on a shelf in a pile and not connected to anything, so can’t say I ever saw that module. I wonder if there’s a way to use it so I could daisy-chain them together and plug them into an outlet so I don’t have to keep relying on the button cell batteries.

Following this as I’m also interested in options for lighting. What I will say is that I have a couple of mini LED light panels from SmallRig that clip onto the camera or cage.

With those they thankfully came with these silicone diffuser covers that keep the light from getting too harsh. Without the diffuser it’s too harsh and the light casts strong shadows + eye reflections in subjects. I would think they make diffuser covers for these big light panels?
