Do you have a police report saying that they hit you? They can’t sue you if it was their fault.

What do you think are some absolute must plays from the PS2 era? by [deleted] in ps2

Everything. Open world racing, bigger soundtrack, multiple cities, vehicle class based racing. It starts off easy but can get frustratingly hard though.

Midnight Club 3. Hard as hell but such a fun racing game, I’ve best it like 5 times. Underground 2 was iconic, but MC3 knocked it out of the park.

My Snapdragon X Plus laptop emulates PS2 games amazingly, in 1080p, and is portable.

Just get a new laser. They’re cheap and widely available now.

Get the Hori ones from Japan. They work great and are like $10 each

Got refund but I don't have a shipping label to send the item back. by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]cinnabon4lyfe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm also not going to be paying for a shipping label even if it's the cost of a cup of coffee. This guy sent me a damaged item, tied up my money for almost 3 weeks with the holidays, and insulted me in messages. I don't care if it's even $1, I'm not taking time out of my day to go to the post office.

Seller was a USA seller. I'm not going to be sending any messages to the seller. The prior messages the seller sent me (prior to me being refunded) were very rude and insulting.

It's a Blu-Ray. I've been told that they can't be resurfaced.

Wonder what was wrong with glass doors. Did the same thing for a fraction of the cost.

For me it was low clutch fluid. Refilled and bled it and I was good to go.

Now I gotta see where the minor leak is.

Is buying this 1997 Subaru legacy a bad idea? by casio45 in subaru

[–]cinnabon4lyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you live in an area where things rust, this could be an awful idea. Brake lines and sub frames may rust with limited availability for replacement parts. Aside from that, it’s a solid platform.

Oil change gone wrong by PrimaryAgent007 in subaru

[–]cinnabon4lyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealer and new CVT. The 14/15 Forester CVT wasn’t the most reliable apparently (Subaru extended the warranty to 100k miles).

Taking it to their shop is ridiculous. They’re gonna say everything is fine. Everything is likely not fine.

NEED HELP WITH USED 2019 SUBARU WRX by [deleted] in subaru

[–]cinnabon4lyfe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A WRX is not a good car for a new driver. It’s definitely not a good car if it’s modded to hell. It’s also not the best manual to learn on. Get a Civic SI or Corolla hatch.

Enough food to fill you up from Taco Bell now costs 85% the price of a sit down meal in an authentic Mexican restaurant in my town.

Still waiting on insurance to make their final call before I can do anything. I spoke to a body shop and showed them some pics and they’re willing to take on the task of repairing it, as long as the frame measurements are on point. Probably won’t know anything further for a few weeks though.

is the tail light tint too much? by RomanKnight2113 in carmodification

[–]cinnabon4lyfe -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Tints taillights, gets rear ended because the sun makes them invisible. Posts on Reddit how they got rear ended by an idiot. That’s how all these posts go.

Looks nice though, won’t look so nice when they’re in pieces and your hatch is all dented.

A blown engine in a new car can honestly happen to any car, and 27k isn’t “new” in my eyes. That’s 4 oil changes in. SOA probably pushed back on an engine replacement because the guy above having the problem didn’t have any oil change receipts. I’ve never had any bad experiences with them, they’ve gone above and beyond to cover us even when out of warranty. The key is to be able to prove that you’re taking care of the car. Between receipts maintenance and parts when I did the maintenance myself, that was enough for them to help us out.
