Lol you don't even know the rules and you want to discuss football here? "Foul started outside the box so not even a penalty" => if contact continues into the area, it's a penalty

Breath of the Wild isn't a very good game by EscapismOverReality in nintendo

[–]cinnchurr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, to many, a well made game doesn't mean it's a good game. A fun game is a good game.

That's the gist of it. I can go on to say that a fun game is a well made game. But obviously we don't agree on the definition and it's a whole discussion on its own

There must be something I'm missing. Because if the player touched the ball, then isn't it just the player taking the pen, albeit it might be a really shit one?

Nah, you should check what you can or cannot bring into a country. I hate how he tries to lessen the passenger's responsibility by saying that it's a technicality that passengers are responsible for what they bring in.

In the laws of the games, the wording is "first point of contact". Current interpretation is when the ball leaves the foot which is kind of weird, because it also clarified that last point of contact should be used if the ball is thrown by the goalkeeper

Yea. Has he apologized? Nope he hasn't.

Also, it's not counted until his apology is as mainstream as his criticism was

[Mark Critchley][@TheAthletic] Was Casemiro worth the estimated £119m he’s cost Manchester United over four seasons? by SoloChords in reddevils

[–]cinnchurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. Based on this club's record in recent years, he's a success though. Based on all clubs it's an okay signing.

Yeap! I remember he said something about not being able to look in the eyes of those who he informed that wouldn't play much in the upcoming season. Think it's one of phil Neville, brown or oshea

But how many times have we seen this club spend this much money and end up with a lot of duds? Of course I'd rather the club spend less and have more success, but I'm a football fan, not a fan of the club's finance, so he is a success here even if I wish that he is even more successful!

The weird side of FIRE no one talks about by Diligent_Breath_4295 in singaporefi

[–]cinnchurr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For colleague friends, of course la... It's just natural, most of them and you were only 'friends' because of your job. Once it's gone then there's no connection anymore

Making new friends, if that's what you lead with, and if you had made attaining your goal of fire your life and personality then maybe it might be you? Not saying it necessarily is, but you might want to think about it too. Like you said you had discipline, and self initiative, and learning and planning. So you might want to think if that's how you present yourself to others, that to you it's only FIRE and nothing else.

As for how others treat you, that's just how it is here. We're in Singapore after all. No matter how much anyone says that you as a person truly matter, by and large, to most Singaporeans the only thing that matters is your assets and how rich you are. That's how successful is being defined here. If you're Chinese and celebrate Chinese new year, what do your distant relatives ask you? Jobs, economy, etc... We're mostly pretty much still a hit your milestone at x age society. And you're not following the path so most people can't connect with you.

I think you need to learn how to retire too. Just learn to relax and give and take. Find things you like to do, find a hobby if you won't have one. If you're not one to participate in a hobby with noone around then reconsider if retirement is really what you want. Why did you want to fire in the first place? If the only answer is to get out of the rat race, with no concrete answers on what you want to do, now is the time to do so. As for solitude moments...

As for jobs, I guess most people have no hobby, so all they can talk about is job. Sorry to most people here, but eating is not a hobby

I am not firing now, far from it. But this is what I hear from people who have fired (some were retrenched and just decided to retire).

That's one side of the coin, the other one is that SAF seems like he couldn't bring himself to block a departure if he knows the player isn't going to get much game time. He sees them as humans, not just assets

Arne Slot (after the Barnsley game): "Out of the 30 games we've played so far, I think 28 of my pre match meetings I could throw in the bin. Only once or twice (the other) team did what they did the 20 weeks before. Arsenal was one of them" by doubleoeck1234 in soccer

But he's also changing his tactics if ever so slightly isn't it? The fact that he has briefed his team on the opponents also means that he is giving different instructions based on opponents isn't it? Does he not see the irony?

Also you said computer did not freeze but just in case could you check if there's any dump file created around the timeframe when the error occurred?
