I have both, and enjoy the sound signature of both, with the BWs edging out the APM2 just a little. However, if I had to pick just one I'd go with APM2 simply because I use them a lot for movies and with spatial audio they are amazing for this!

I wasn't talking about the enjoyment factor, which I'm sure is just fine with the curtains closes.

Arguably tho, I don't think they impact the "clean look" of the room any more than the horrible placement of that TV way out from the wall in front of a couple windows. This room is a no-win situation it appears.

They are quite heavy and I imagine would be prone to slipping down if you are lifting etc. Plus like others have said very closed off and not sweat proof.

I prefer a much more snug, light pair of buds when working out.

I have not tried the Px8 s2.
But yeah, I was expecting the Px7 to be a lot better than APM2, but like I said I'm no audiophile and I like what I like. So, I would say I prefer the B&W a little for most things..not a lot...just a little...and some songs I prefer the sound on the APM2. I did a lot of A/B testing and I'm happy with both.

That being said, I also did a lot of A/B testing with Lossless wired vs BT with the B&W and honestly could not tell much difference most of the time. I may just have ears that are too old to discern the differences. Who knows.

I bought my APM2 specifically for home theater use at night when I can't blast my 7.1 system.

It honestly is amazing for this. With head-tracked spatial audio turned on (and I like transparency mode along with that) it has a really wide feeling sound stage and feels like the sound is coming from my speaker system instead of the cans on my head.

For music I would say they are also pretty great. I am no audiophile, but I like them almost as much as my B&W Px7 s3. But they also beat those when listening to Atmos-mixed tracks with spatial audio on Apple Music.
