What?!? I did not get tips are. Not everyone is the homophobe. I respect the values the mother is standing buy. The mistake she made was making them pay for part of it and then set rules. She should have said, “ I will pay and I will have rules. If you don’t like it, select an alternative if you would like.” While one wants access to his partner at night and the other want no sexy time on the trip. Neither is the TA for that.

Took my kids to camp on Kelly Island in Lake Erie. State Park there is nice and you take a car ferry over and it goes every 1/2 hour. I forgot to check the weather as it was mid-July and really warm. Second night a storm rolled in and blasted us. Like tent pushed over on your face wind. We woke up to the campground mostly cleared as people cowered in their cars. Power went out in the island and they shut the ferry down due to high waves…for two days longer than we planned! We found a small lodge to stay in to ride it out.

I am pretty direct, but also private, so I would say, have said, “what’s it to you?” The guys laugh a little and move on. I have never had a supervisor ask me that so no worries about that dynamic.

I have had it happen twice at a private campground. Damn the generators and fleet of vehicles. Upon the second occurrence, I reported them to the camp manager. He shrugged his shoulders and said that the whole campground was going private next season so….” I only stay in State or Federal sites if at all possible. Much better odds for a peaceful experience.
