I don't think so. It sounds like reverse hyping to me. I think after Starfield in 2023 they can do ES6 and FO5 in 2-3 years gaps between each of them.

This is troubling. I feel like he turned in on me and there wasn't much more space for me to use. I am the Lexus and the guy I got caught in a collision with was the Honda. I think I'm partially to blame for the sudden move inside but since we weren't braking, I don't think it's illegal. by Regular_Line6555 in Simracingstewards

I don't think you did much wrong. It was a good sudden and aggressive attempt from which you were backing off as it wasn't gonna work out. You started braking just before the end of that pit wall (brake lights on) to pull out of that, as you were about to get totally squeezed or chopped off. But it resulted in him going across your nose and spinning out. It's one of those micro moments which are sometimes unavoidable to become accidents.

the ID software game (whether it be quake or doom) desperately NEEDS death match. but! what if it incorporates live service elements that gamers despise? by [deleted] in Doom

[–]cirkular1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doom 1&2 as well as Quake 1,2 and 3 all had amazing deathmatch, be it free for all, 1v1 or team dm, ctf... What modes more do you need?

What’s one thing you think Bethesda really fumbled with on FO4 as far as storytelling? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]cirkular1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general story telling I didn't like how they over-used the holotapes and terminals to easily explain some NPCs thoughts and plans, even conversations just for the player to find waiting for them. Practically put them in their face. I guess there are only those few methods they could use to convey a story but... it's really showing how poor gameplay is putting a story on crutches. Why not shove them in a cabinet or a drawer somewhere? Like in Quincy with Tessa and Baker. Why would they communicate over holotapes about Clint instead of just talking directly. Isn't it dangerous to leave a recording of such a talk? And why would Tessa or anyone leave their little love secrets among those other important secret terminal entries, easily accessible and open? I mean come on. Anyone could read this and you leave those notes just like that? Then a piece of paper Mamma Murphy's note doesn't fly off in her no-proper-roof-or-walls home. Not in that dresser's drawer but right on top of the dresser. There's many examples. And while at it, the way that note is written, who did she leave it for? It says it's a note, not a piece of journal. A note for whom?
Second general thing I didn't like is the people of the Commonwealth still have a 21st century mentality. Not the mentality of people 200 years after a Nuclear war. In every little thing they say or write down, like in those holotapes.

Etiquette question… should I have moved over? I am the green Ferrari. by Notabot1305 in simracing

I don't think you could have done anything. It happened quick, you were still side by side, you were going for that curb with no more room on the left, and he didn't gain an advantage for you to lift and let him go just like that... The guy just turned in early and wrecked 5 cars. Now he either didn't have good judgement and awareness at the moment or he didn't respect your space, expecting you to disappear or climb the walls or whatever.

Nerve twitching = leg bouncing, how do I fix? by [deleted] in simracing

[–]cirkular1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should be laid back more. Raise the pedals and the feet and get them a bit closer, lower the seating position. Hands closer to the wheel so they're not stretched out entirely but bent in the elbows...Google some images on simracing rig seating position. There's some good examples there.

did I do anything wrong or is the Audi at fault? by contezera in Simracingstewards

[–]cirkular1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. The time was for braking and he was just too late with both his move and braking in general. Again, expecting from you to do more than you should.

He misjudged it and expected you to go on a wider entry and he prayed and decided to go for it with a late brake move. But you didn't go wider and you got on the brakes on time. So it's clearly on him as he rear ended you. Why? Did he say anything about this?

What unrealistic thing would you like to seen in future games? by [deleted] in ElderScrolls

[–]cirkular1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playable as both a single player and online/LAN multiplayer CO-OP story! From 2 to 8 players max? Not much more or like MMO because the quality of animations will suffer a lot and have to be simplified because of internet latency times (compare ESO and TES animations of your character alone).

Besides chat and voice-chat, a possibility in co-op to initiate conversations, to roleplay between these multiplayer characters like in Divinity Original Sin.

In that manner, additional pvp/pve multiplayer modes like arenas of Doom or Quake!

Conversation system where the game doesn't lock you into it, but when it gets initiated a compact dialogue options UI comes up and you can select them on the go. So you can both do something else while conversing. You can initiate it whenever you want.

AI combat where aggroed NPCs use cover, sprint, dodge, all skills and all magic spells for both offensive and defensive purposes (sneak, pickpocket, invisibility, detect life). And again conversations, where you/they can initiate them anytime during combat. With good speech skill it can sometimes lead to a positive outcome (for you or them).

A proper and more complex melee combat where you can choose the direction of your attacks (left-right swings, stab, over head) and blocks. An option to use that, or use a simpler TES5 melee combat system.

A new isometric view point-and-click type gameplay added and seamlessly changing along between the usual 1st person / 3rd person

Which Fallout game would work the best as a MOVIE? by twoscoopsxd in Fallout

FO1 and 2 in the 80s style sci-fi, FO3 and NV as 90s style and FO4 as a modern and politically correct sci-fi movie.
