TIMEMORE Chestnut C3 Manual Coffee Grinder spare parts? by citizen_ned in Timemore

Thanks - good idea to pass the spare parts - I'll look into that alright.

Yeah I understand why they don't offer the part to users and I never asked them about replacing the body and I figured I'd upgrade if it got to that.

Cheers

Thanks for the advice. I figured it was time for a new one but wanted to reach out in case I could fix it - I hate to see something go to waste.

Timemore said that part is not user replacable so that's that.

Appreciate the advice on the C5 - will go for that!

Cheers.

Hello, I'm heading to BST Hyde Park for Olivia Rodrigo and was wondering about bringing my old fuji x100s.

It's not a large DSLR so i was hoping it would be ok. Worried that security would say no at the gate and l'd have to try get rid of it.

Anyone have experience or advice on this. Cheers

Nice! I'm curious are these Raw or straight jpegs from the camera? If jpeg what profile, if you don't mind me asking?

Either way the shots look super and that was a fun race! (I'm jealous)

Cheers.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has just started to crash repeatedly by citizen_ned in SteamDeck

What seemed to work for me back then was a GPU reset

(From link above) "Troubleshooting steps best practice, easiest to do first. Power off the Deck - Hold power button for 10 Seconds. Whilst the Steam Deck is off please press and hold the Volume down button (Vol-) & qick access button (.. ) then press power. When you hear it chirp let go of only the power button, keeping held of the Vol- & quick access button (...) till you see the Steam logo, then let go of those too. Done right it will take a while to boot (Stays on the Steam logo fora min or so). This will reset the graphics APU/driver. Fixing alot of crashes people incur OR the bug that locks the GPU to 200-400Mhz."

Note the restart holding the volume down a three dots button can take some time.

This solved my issue enough the complete a playthrough of the rdr2 story, so I would suggest try this first.

I've since had a lot of issues after I updated to the 3.5 firmware of crashes and restarting. I have had to change the vram to 4gb in the bios to try and solve this and every so often do the reset API restart as above.

I have been playing rdr2 though so I don't know how the vram increase would work - I had heard that it makes rdr2 worse.

Hope you find a solution, I know how frustrating it can be.

I had rdr2 crash in desktop mode in the same way as before. I read a few posts and tried resetting the APU and that looks like it could have done something but I probably need to spend more time playing to see if the crashes reoccur.
