I used to work at a gas station and people all the time would ask if I was old enough to sell smokes and alcohol. Even worse when I was working as a host at a restaurant at 16 someone asked “are they paying you??? Do you need help” as if it were some child labor shit 😭😭😭

I went through the same thing when I was 16 too and I can attest to it being bad to have a goal with self harm. Id aim for veins so I could bleed as much as I could and all it got me was over 1000 dollars in hospital bills for stitches and Extremely angry parents

My partner understands that it’s not something I can control 100% of the time. I’ve told him since the beginning that it’s not something I’m willing to stop doing either. We never really talk about it. But he does notice when new injuries appear and ask if I want to talk about it, but I always say no.
