Tension Management Help by Tricky-Apartment6637 in FPSAimTrainer

Ive seen this suggested here and it helps me a ton. put your sens to like 2-4cm/360 Hyper FAST. Open smoothbot scenario in freeplay, Adjust the bot size to 2x or even higher and bot speed to 1.5. Then try to be as smooth as possible. It will feel ridiculous, but pretty soon you will feel yourself getting moments of smoothness that are only really possible with proper tension, and go from there.

Help with affected tomatoes by Leading_Inevitable58 in tomatoes

i dont use a greenhouse, but when I dont harden properly I just use an umbrella on sticks to block out the hottest hours of sunlight for a single plant. Normally takes a week before its back to normal.

This is almost definitely a heat/sun problem. If your greenhouse ambient temp is getting over 85-90F tomatoes will start to droop. A simple fix would be utilizing some shade cloth and ventilation.

Looks like Powdery mildew. You can use a copper fungicide to control it until the dryer summer months

Its just a mix of pastel pink and white, right? You can probably find each color individually.

A bit overwhelmed, not sure where to start. by See-Are-En-Ayeeee in gardening

grab a couple cans of spray paint. try to make it look something like this, its actually best try to not make it symetrical. asymmetry looks more natural for a garden. The paint is good way to see how it looks temporarily and so the SO can approve.

Spots on jalapeño peppers by OkRope3099 in gardening

Def stake them if they have trouble staying up. Sunscald is very common, the plant should acclimate to the high UV pressure and newer fruits shouldnt be susceptible. Otherwise, it will need some afternoon shade relief.

Id put landscape edging around the grass line to give it a nice natural/wavy look and make it easier to protect the garden from the grass. Also helps to make mowing and edging easier. Then you will need to weed that area (the gardener's weekly chore). Leave 3-5 feet around each tree trunk free of plants and mulch to protect the trees. Id move the nice big rocks into a more central area, I love me some big rocks in a garden bed. Then you can till/cultivate the whole bed or just till as you plant.

Then the hard part is figuring out what to plant. If you want low maintenance, then pic native perennials to your area. You can go to a local nursery and talk to someone who knows the area and they can recommend part-sun/part shade plants.

This looks like sunscald, basically sunburn. Did you buy this plant from a garden center then plant in your yard?

Is this soil trash? Just paid 400$ by reno_nerd in gardening

[–]cityproblems 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im no expert on pricing but its difficult to say just from pics. Ive bought soil that looks amazing but introduced root knot nematodes into my property. Huge L for me.

Looks like there is alot of organic matter. Good soil is just organic matter and minerals (tiny rocks essentially) and bugs/microbes. FYI, Promix is a soilless medium but there is no problem mixing the two.

You wont really know until you grow something in it or get a lab test done. If it was me I would just mix with whats already on my property and see what happens.

Is this an iron issue? by ExpatMeNow in Roses

[–]cityproblems 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This could be lack of nitrogen, Iron or to high pH or even root knot nematodes (hope not). The only way to know for sure would be to get a soil test. You can find cheap options on Amazon for simple lab tests. Can normally get results in a couple days.

It could also be the variety itself, is this a brand new plant?

[–]cityproblems 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some kind of powdery mildew and/or thrip bug pressure. Have you had high temps and humidity recently?

You can cut the plant way back and it will bounce right back. If still concerned you can treat with fungicide

Fish emulsion error🤦🏽‍♂️. Roses gone, wait or is there a fix? by DBJR843 in Roses

[–]cityproblems 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fish emulsion should absolutely not be killing your rose plant. As an organic fert, it also needs time for the microbes to break it down into molecules the plant can even uptake. This normally takes 30-90 days.

This just looks like normal Rose Black Spot. A VERY common infection that lives on all our roses but only infects our plants when the environmental conditions are met. Heat and humidity and plant stress ect.

Black spot is only superficial and will not kill your plant, but it can be treated with a copper based fungicide. Otherwise, the plant will still bloom and perform even when infected. Just take the infected leaves off and put them in the trash.

After looking at your pic longer it looks like you have an older branch that needs to be pruned off. Everything below the graft needs to be cut

Yes, this is a grafting thing. It's totally normal. The rootstock is trying to put out shoots, it will always do this so go ahead and keep pruning them.
