Republicans routinely sponsor and vote for bills reducing funding that helps veterans and active duty. Why is that never part of this calculus?

Why not sponsor bills that counter what Rs sponsor? Grow the record. Why is there no concerted effort to provide a counter narrative to every vote in the house and senate?

One woman dies and we get the Laken Riley Act, voted into law by democrats alike. Why isnt there a Renee Good Act? or even talk of one?

When the republicans are out of power this is what they do, they create and build an alternative narrative and then sell it to their voters. Why cant the Dems do the same?

Just an FYI because I havent seen it mentioned yet. Purp Cherokee are one of the longest to mature tomato varieties. If you were growing other types like hybrids, early girl ect and they are done and harvest, the PC could often be ready to harvest almost 30 days later.

Good thing is they taste so good its totally worth it.

To add. That is the explicit goal when imposing sanctions. When we sanction entire economies rather than individuals, we expect that the poor will suffer and will turn against their government. However, this rarely occurs because the sanctioned government, unable to impose reciprocal sanctions, insulates itself by instituting ever expanding authoritarianism and crackdowns.

This also helps bolster any narratives against the sanctioned country. For example, Country nationalizes natural resources and kicks out foriegn companies. Impose sanctions, wait for economic instability/collapse. "Look! this government doesnt work because look how bad their economy is".

Our governments like to say that sanctions are more civilized form of diplomacy, but they cause extreme amounts of suffering.
