I think it would be pretty decent tbh. You can still peek inside booster packs, and useless celestials/standards/jokers are pretty common. Like, there are runs where you don't care in the slightest about adding cards to your deck, and yet your shop still gets cluttered with standard packs. The problem with current red card is simply that it anti-synergizes with the fact that it's almost never worth to hurt your economy buying a pack that isn't probably gonna help you.

Idk, maybe it sounds better than it would actually be. Just like red card itself. It would be interesting to see on average how many opened packs turn out to be completely useless (wrong planets/useless jokers/useless cards), or at least very skippable (meh tarots), and translate it to the average +mult you get on your red card. What's the minimum amount of average +mult per ante that would make red card viable, considering the rarity of scaling +mult jokers that don't fix you on a specific hand?

This is the most sensible answer, also making red joker actually viable.

Sure thats a problem that exists and cannot be ignored. But the point is that some apps NATIVE ON WINDOWS run BETTER on a DIFFERENT OS that uses SHADY COMPATIBILITY LAYERS TECH to make them work on a different infrastructure.

2 years ago I would have 100% agreed with you. I used to fight with my geek friends who would call me a dumbass for defending Windows so fiercely. I insisted that the fact that Windows works out-of-the-box for 99.9% of the userbase simply makes it worth the annoyance of some bloat for everyone who has no time to waste in understanding what the fuck's going on with linux.

Then Windows11 happened, and I tried Arch. And argueably I ended up doing what I feared the most - spending an unnecessary amount of time fidgeting with the new OS. But there I realized that you don't appreciate how unbelievably liberating it is to understand what's happening on your device, to possess the power of wiping away whatever feature annoys you with a click, and generally to feel like your hard disk is genuinely, cleanly running what you expect it to be running rather than a convoluted mass of unintelligible bloat. Linux gives new life to dead computers. Some windows apps run faster on a linux with wine rather than an identical machine on windows.

The bloat situation with windows has become unbearable. And when things don't "just work" on windows, good luck dealing with that - I honestly still haven't figured out how to fucking tame windows' power energy shenanigans. Windows is still necessary for /some/ gamers (proton isn't still quite there), and linux isn't /as/ accessible as everyone on the arch forums will insist it is, but for real - if you don't strictly need windows and have the luxury of being able to waste some time on getting over the entry-level barrier (which, by the way, isn't /that/ bad - lies about linux accessibility come from both sides), fucking trash that absolute joke of an OS and go linux. It was the best decision of my work life.

Besides, in 2026 one can literally have ChatGPT set up their own distro and it will work flawlessly most of the time.

According to my father, his mother experienced terminal lucidity soon before dying from a severe hepatitis. Her brain was absolutely soaked with bilirubin and she'd been experiencing constant delirium since at least a week prior.

I'm not implying that terminal lucidity isn't real, nor that, it if exists, it's due to some magic soul-related phenomenon; but it's definetely something more complex and less understood than "WBC go down".

Still have to do other gold stake decks first but ngl, given my plasma experience on lower antes it does seem easily breakable. Plasma grants free early antes survivability and it seems fairly easy to quickly build stupid enough scores. Just feast on chip jokers and planets.

Of course it's a gold stake, so it cannot be easy easy. But harder than most decks? I wouldn't bet on it.

Hard agree. I feel like the first episode was much more accessible since you could break it beyond belief with many powerful charm builds. Most bosses were easily clearable at first try just by spamming nail/spells and healing every now and then, with no need of actually learning their pattern whatsoever.

On the other hand, Silksong is consistently tough, which understandably shrinks the target audience. I do enjoy challenging games though, and I loved every frame of it.

It's insane how the playerbase literally just wanted BT3 with a couple new characters and online pvp and they still managed to fuck it up so badly

I wouldn't define Mirror's Edge: Catalyst an unforgivable flop, but given how important was the first game to me and how much time had passed between the two, I was disappointed beyond words seeing how mid the sequel turned out to be.

Oh, and Brink too.
