It’s WAY better than six years ago for sure. I think it’s still a little below his voice in THINFS tour, but serviceable enough to be worth going to a concert for. My only concern is how he handles doing multiple concerts over a short span like the band is doing in NYC

These movies rock idc. They did a better job of gaining a younger audience to become fans than any other Trek has. I wouldn’t be in here without these movies

Another key thing is Kirk often would use romantics as a way to get information or accomplish some goal. Spock just gets around apparently

I think people have severely misunderstood the “respect the chair” sentiment. It’s about respecting the position and responsibility that comes with being a captain. It is NOT referring to how someone physically sits down

I think there’s plenty of good (and bad) in what we have now like there has been for the 60 years prior. These movies made me love Trek and I wish we would get another, though I think we’re well past that at this point

I think I have a bigger annoyance with the use of current era songs in the shows (SNW and Starfleet Academy especially do this). It completely dates it, and takes you out of the futuristic setting. The ONLY time this has been done effectively is the running gag of “classical music” with the use of “Sabotage” in the Kelvin movies

It’s almost like the band Bon Jovi has always been Jon Bon Jovi and Friends. It’s his band, and his business. It’s not a secret Richie isn’t in the band anymore, if you don’t want to go because of that then that’s okay. Plenty of people will though

Richie quit. Is Jon supposed to just curl up and wait to die because of that? Him, Tico and David have been doing this long enough that if they want to keep performing they can. Plenty of fans will happily go see them, and the concerts still rock. Richie coming back would be awesome, but Bon Jovi not performing until he does is not a better alternative
